Lightning is good right now because of the extra damage to electrified you can get right now on accessories. Purification is gonna be what you want when dream of the wise/nioh comes out.
@@dbzfanzone4725 mostly for the slow/mini-sloth effect which works really well solo and co-op + the bonus melee dmg vs electrified enemies (star perks) you can get on gear and accessories. Basically giving you a great bump to dmg like water or poison + the slow effect, now add in life drain on lightning dmg and you're gonna have a lot of fun. A slowed down enemy is basically not a threat anymore and allows you to take on multiple targets at once while mitigating the cheap death possibility.

Amazing build. Ive been thinking of trying out switch glaive. May I have a request? Can you do Calamity's Pulse when you do your next video? Those three bosses seem to have too much health. Thanks.
If your stuck and keep dying run both pleides and extraction, every time I absorb amrita I get a big health gain, not sure if it's some skill I learned in the tree but it's massive for me. I also ran lower defense and attack on the last boss and slammed him with his own yokai attack. It was still brutal, took me many tries.

(+dmg vs sat on both accessories + accumulation) -- Huge question though, Does Magic/onmyo power affect the rate at which you put a status on an enemy? Like do magic builds put statuses on enemies much easier? I only have magic to 30 to cap on magic allowed as a loadout -- One last thing - Soul Purge... does the buff do the exact same whether you have 301 familiarity or 999? Or does the buff scale? -- Sorry for all the questions man, have a good day bro

I haven't used soul purge, but I've stacked everything else to my knowledge; versatility, wildfire, nuppeppo soul core, carnage and weakness status. Total active skill damage boost of about 25%, and my magic and constitution are both above 90. Switchglaive attack power is about 2.5k damage. Gonna rewatch the vid, but if you see something I've missed please let me know, thanks a lot!
sup bro.my numbers are roughly 8k-11.5k as well without soul purge(at least with proper wildfire flux). i was told by a friend that soul purge is 150% damage buff.never did the actual math myself but i know it definitely turns the fire up when used.
Nice one! But what about Minamoto no Yoshitsune? :) And real challenge for builds is to achieve good dmg in Torii gates(expeditions) with or wo partners. If u can beat it there, then BUILD really strong.
I used this as a template for my current build, but I use Inari 7 piece instead of Benzaiten. 4 weapons, helm, and chest Inari Grace, and gloves, pants, boots from the Seimei set. For the helm I used Water Buffalo to counteract Carnage debuff, and a heavier chest armor (I went with Yorki) to get myself to 228 toughness because I can't stand B toughness, could maybe roll toughness on all or some gear and keep the black fox mask idk. Otherwise pretty much the same idea with spells/spirits/abilities. Thank you, really informative video :D

You could get a scroll with Dmg Bonus (Onmyo Magic) instead of rocking Black fox mask. Then you could possibly mix and match armor slots again, to maybe get 200 toughness.

This is a nice template for a mage build with switch glaive. I just personally don't care for all the damage stacking making fights lack luster and boring due to a short span. I do use versatility and the peppo core, but only under certain conditions. After watching this gives me a grander idea for a build I've been working on for sure. I current use benz and warrior of the east. The east is heavy but you get the constitution damage buff and melee damage. Plus its easy to get active skill damage on all pieces. Im level 350 but base damage on my switchglaive is 2750.
i chose this setup to keep from having to use the odachi for set bonus from omnyo warrior set and i wanted to share setup with splitstaff and switchglaive

i can do some theorycrafting for good one but immediately off the top off my head i will say ninjutsu build-always been strong in nioh 1 and nioh 2 but not my playstyle.
Only decent one I've used is a melee ki damage grapple build. Get increased attack on winded enemy and damage vs zero ki enemy. Plus the clan that lowers defense on grapple. Can get an easy 20-25k grapple without manual buffs. Not too great for bosses though and sucks for coop.
i use it alot in general gameplay but i did'nt share the highest stack enough in demo.i feel this setup is strongest with benzaiten when i play by myself
1)carnage talisman 2)soul purge talisman 3)dried nuppeppo meat 4)watershot talisman 5) wildfire flux mystic art (makes switchglaive hit harder with consecutive switchstances.stacks up to 5 times.) the switchglaive is at its best when using switch stance. if u notice i dont spamm skills such as empty retribution,infinite retribution. i always switch stances.i've had people tell me they don't feel comfortable making this setup because they not really comfortable using switchstances( which is easy in my opinion.)

Lighting also has a sloth quality to it, which is why I never use it. But if it helps people than go for it. I just personally don't care for it.

you don't need to use soul purge but bear in mind that i use soul purge in all my demos to show max damage potential with all buffs up and running.

i was still getting one shotted roughly with omnyo warrior with fully refined armor before i decided for genmei omnyo. (i kid you not)

Where you get the A+ on magic stats bonus on a weapon to transfer?I never saw a weapon with that
A+ comes with max familiarity on the weapon. Everything starts low but stats raise with fam.
Increase familiarity with that item
For example: if you roll change to attack (x) A-, if you max familiarity, it'll increase special effects, getting it to A+
