So you spam the burst counter to cast the feathers faster. However you have to use the feathers when the enemy is out of ki so you get a x5 damage. Ideally you also apply confusion so you deal more damage and the enemy doesn't go into the dark realm

@@chrisjanzen7748 Ninja Feathers are cracked. He has like 70 Dex plus Confusion with Purity from the salt and the element from the Feather. The most broken thing about the Feathers is that you can spam them by animation cancelling with Burst Counters. You can also do it with a normal Ki Pulse but the timing is a lot stricter.
Fantastic run. I criticised this game for being way too hard in comparison to the first nioh but I didn’t know about certain tricks like the magic/ninjutsu along with soul counter cancels the animation. I’m really looking forward to getting the game again on ps5, just need to get a ps5 first ...

i put points into Dex because my main dps is ninjutsu and ninjutsu scales Dex. The reason i always stagger the boss is because i remove his ki with salt

@@theuzi8516 it's not awful simply because it's a PC with its kb/m instead of controller. Kb/m is really great for that complex game because it allows to create a million of bindings to work with

Ninja skill Shadow Hearts aka Feather. There are 3 element. Burst counter (R2+O) for cancel long animation so you can spam all ammunition in short time.
When fighting the bore boss you use salt and feathers, but also transform too. Is that transform just to avoid taking damage or does it boost the feather damage somehow?
idk who the bore boss is but usually when i transform is to cast feathers faster and to have unlimited burst counters. The only boss that i also want to avoid taking damage is kashin koji

Does anybody know why during Kamaitachi's fight, he keep using that phamtom parry between ninjuntsu casts? Further in the video, he seems to do it on many more fights. Does it serve a purpose in terms of damage? Or does that helps leveling up shifting abilities?

It’s way better than faster cast. Cast feathers without using the shift and see how long it takes. Then cast feathers and as soon as the feathers appear, do the Yokai Shift (phantom or feral) and you cancel half the animation. Super nifty and useful! Feathers are so strong and we’re (kinda) balanced by having a long animation. But the shift nullifies that.

so what happens is that the next platform, which is the one you jump on, comes up to your level and jumping immediately you basically skip the animation of the platform coming up to your level the reason i took that little damage is because i jumped a bit faster than the platform, however, if you jump from the side of the path you are gonna die, idk the reason
Simply because the bosses/enemies are out of Ki when the feathers hit! Get a boss/enemy out of Ki, and instead of pressing triangle when the red dot appears, quickly cast a feather spell and watch the insane damage.
From what I saw, you throw salt to take away Ki from enemies, and other buffs to blast them. salt is the secret because all the Ki goes to the enemy, right?
@@stray--god he used most of his money early on to buy it from the blacksmith so that it replenishes after a mission is complete. you can also donate items at the kodama bazaar to get divine rice which you can also buy salt with im pretty sure

He is using a lot ninjutsu (so do i). It looks like magic. And it is damn broken if u realise what damage it does, when the purple enemy bar is down.

Being hit while doing an animation cancels it so we used to get hit from the revenant to go on the blue bridge right away

They are a guaranteed, you pick them up at the start of the Owl mission

Simply because the bosses/enemies are out of Ki when the feathers hit! Get a boss/enemy out of Ki, and instead of pressing triangle when the red dot appears, quickly cast a feather spell and watch the insane damage.
I spent like 2-3 hours one of the bosses yesterday, you would have managed to finish the game twice in that time

@@jordanbutler9920 mainly what you want to use are ninja feathers and cancel the animation with burst counter

But jokes aside, great run. I only ever tend to go into damage dealing Jutsus on DoD onwards, I've never seen ng bosses melt like that. Quite entertaining.
