Dan Brown's masterpiece is the twist regarding the Camerlengo. When you look at him, you trust him immediately, he had this soft voice that disarmed you and inevitably made you trust him, only to turn out to be behind it all. Goodness, I love this movie!!

The funny thing is that if he truly believed in god and his omnipotence, any actions/claims by man should be irrelevant as nothing can threaten God's power. By doing what he did wasn't he showing that he had some real seeds of doubt somewhere in his mind?

I was very suprised by this cuz I interpreted the quote "Your father" (in the books) as god. But no, the Pope took him in secretly raised his son. From what I understand, the pope told the Camerlengo that he had a child and that he "owed a debt to science". It is this latter revelation, made to him by the Great Elector during the confrontation scene (that we never really got to see re-enacted in the move), that drove him to self-immolation.
@aliensinnoh1 perhaps but in the last 10 years they've done 11 shows with another on the way. Marvel have done double that. If these weren't Star Wars with only quarter of a season worth of episodes they'd never even get off the ground let alone be shown yet they keep squeezing the money teat.

Ewan McGregors character flys a helicopter in the film. In reality his brother is a fighter pilot for the RAF. 2. His commits suicide by burning himself to death at the end of the film. If you remember in revenge of the Sith he watches Anakin Skywalker burn at the end of the film due to him turning to the darkside. Ewan McGregor gained the high ground and watched his friend suffer. Gaining the high ground In angels and demons was lost and he suffered the coniqensues but a lot more worse.
