Best car ever IMO. I bought my 88 in 90 with 12,000 miles on it and put nearly 300k miles on it daily driving it for over 18 years. I think I was the happiest commuter in the front range. I still take her out and she still fills me with joy.
Great video! I just picked up an Alpine White e30 M3 a couple months ago with a 2.5L stroker built by Paul Burke of Imagineering. I absolutely love the car!
Well this video made me feel better. I have a alpine white/black leather 35,000 mile condition 1 car and I paid less than the Hagerty condition 1 price. The only problem is what you stated and that's driving it. These cars are getting so hard to find clean that the best ones should hold up in value or trend up as more cars get more technologically advanced and are powered electrically. TD
That's really awesome, sounds like you have a gem in your garage. You bring up a good point about the EVs and I'm interested to see how the electrification trend affects classic car values. I think we'll soon reach a point where EVs take the excitement out of straight-line acceleration and the driving experience in general, so people will start turning to the cars that are engaging and actually have a soul. I think the E30 is a perfect example of the latter which will only send the market higher, but of course time will tell. In the meantime I hope you enjoy your M3!

What a legendary Car. Nice vid man!
No doubt, really appreciate it!
I picked up my alpine white on cardinal red interior back in 2016, and it’s currently being fully restored
Great job! Excellent video.
We appreciate the research and data!
Happy to help!

Great video!!! You should consider doing one on the E34 M5? This car was also a hit for BMW. Where do you think prices are going in the E34 M5 market?
Great video man! I actually just bought one in July 😂
I saw that! Congrats man, I would love to get my hands on one of these. What kind of plans do you have for your E30?
In Europe you can’t get a clean, running E30 M3 below 100k. Or it’s just too hard.
Way underrated video, this is absolutely genius. I hope I find your email.
...BMW FROM 1988...
Amazing content ! You’ll blow up :)
I’ll give you $500 if you find me a solid deal on an E30 M3 :) preferred one which need some restoration
The E30 M3 is a really good car, no argue on that........................but for 50k plus can buy MUCH BETTER CARS !!!
@@guardisto I dont mind collectors or not..............E36 M3 is a much better car and cost fraction of that price.
