Probably one of the best instructional videos I've watched! Thank you for showing me exactly what I needed to see ad well as explaining it as you go. Great work!!!
Great video. When i replaced my door speakers 5yrs ago i added 1/4 foam tape to the adaptor to minimize any rattles or buzzing. I’m actually watching this vid to get a refresher course because i am planning on replacing my door speakers again and adding new 6x9’s. Saved for reference.
Great video but no need to take the whole door off, I was able to do my door speakers by just placing the door piece to the side. This video will help me do the trunk tho!🔥💯
i just want to let you know that i really appreciate the video and that it actually help ease my stress i tell you lol… but ignore the rant i just to say thank you for sharing your knowledge
I will say it makes a world of difference to put sound deadening material in and behind the plastic and on the metal of the car i did that for just my trunk and rear deck tonight because i’m getting new front speakers and it already sounds so much better. Before there was so much rattle in the back i thought my 6x9 speakers were blown but it was just vibration caused by not enough insulation.
I had some 6x5s and 6x9 Kicker speakers and subs installed by a professional in my 2016 Altima SR 4 yrs ago. Stock speakers were trash. Total night and day sound wise. The installer did a great job, and I tipped him well. Wiring wasn't sloppy, no scratches from tools, and the amp was mounted behind the back passenger seat on the drivers side, that had easy access to folding the seat down. I have a 2024 Sentra SR Premium with 8 Bose speakers , and somewhat nervous about getting an amp and sub installed with factory speakers due to so many electronics in the car.
@mcgurrentertainment I also seen another video someone was insulating the front door and rear doors and he said the rear doors don't have speakers have you ever herd of this. I thought my back doors have speakers. I have the exact car younwas working on and it sound like there's speakers there as far as I think there is .??

And I finally received my system in the mail a little pricy but I'm sure it's well worth it. So when you have time may I ask if you have a video that's what I have ordered the entire package

@@mcgurrentertainment awesome I'll give you something else to think about you are the inspiration why I brought my system because the videos have great detail explaining. I just have to decide what goes 1st amp speakers etc. And yes I brought after market speakers

That sounds bad ass. I didn't know that was available. Update: I just let it up. Looks cool and easy to install. I might consider getting one. Let me know how yours turns out.
Thank you very much. Unfortunately, we decided not to change out the dash speakers/tweeters. It requires a fair amount of modification to fit an aftermarket replacement. That juice may not be worth the squeeze. Good question.
Fantastic video. Explained exactly what needs to be done. Followed your instructions and replaced the speakers on my Altima with no issues. However, I did notice that the factory speakers fit flush in the circular grill/hole in the plastic door panel but the new 6.5" speakers were slightly larger and the grill kind of sits on top of it. The interior door panel seemed to attach to the door without any noticeable gaps though. Is this normal?
Thank you very much!!! It's possible, depending on the size (height) of the new speakers (different manufacturers have different specs). As long as everything fits with no issues, let it ride.

How many speakers does the altima 2015 have? 6 in total? Are there any on the dash or below?
Typically, 6. Two in the dash (near the windshield), two in the front doors, and two in the rear (behind the rear seat).

Is it the same exact process for the passenger side door panel removal?
Yes
Do I disconnect the car battery before any of this
You can if you like, but it's not required.

What’s the compound on the screws for?

For the rear speakers you could just use some self tappers and make new holes instead of cutting the speaker housing.
It's likely the new holes would overlap with some of the OEM holes. Hints why we didn't need to trim much off the speakers.
