One thing I noticed that was missed is the fact that volcanic canyon stacks, so 2 canyons mean each draw step becomes draw 3 discard 2. Do note that it's resolved that way and not one at a time(Draw 2 discard 1, then draw 1 and discard 1 again).
Red player stated that he read a ruling that said it does NOT stack, so that is why he only did one of the effects instead of both. I'm not 100% sure on that.
From the specific card rulings on the official page: Q:"If I have two of these nexuses on my field, can I draw two cards and discard one, then draw one more and discard one?" A: "No. You must first draw three cards before choosing and discarding two."
@@valleyboysdigimontcg8246 in general if a card doesn't say "This effect cannot stack" or some similar wording, it can stack across multiple copies. Note that trigger event that happen multiple times at the same time will still triggers the ability once. Eg. Spirit destruction/increasing hand etc.
Yes! I'm the yellow rush player actually, and just went 3-0 at a mini locals this passed weekend and am gonna run it once more this week and if it still runs well I'll run the deck profile soon as I'm still toying with ratios a bit.
Ah, good to know. I'll definitely be looking at red a bit as I'm gonna make a red deck soon. Yellow was a lot of fun still, despite missing some draws. Haha
Yes, admittedly and mentioned in the description there were a lot of misplays as it was both of our first games so sorry about that. We have studied up on the game a little better and although I can't promise perfect games going forward we will do our best to be better about how we play. 1st time playing the deck.
So the double cathedral proc shouldnt have happened when two of your spirits were destroyed at the same time only one trigger for the instance of a deletion
The fun thing is that played correctly this game was one sided, because you forgot sometimes to draw of paradise nexus and the red player used nova without paying the cost. Anyway gg i like your list even if I'm not a huge fan of goldfish, for sure does a good pressure on the board so I respect the choice to play it. 🤩 Edit: I think that when more of your yellow spirits get destroyed on the same time (like for example with nova's effect), the blessed cathedral still procs one time, but I think this should be verified.
godbeast is just "2 costs in trash" The game gets pretty simple with those things. They would say otherwise with a color like all other cards if it was ONLY yellow 2 costs. Like how giganto rex is ONLY terrasaur and emperor beasts

The wording is "you may use the symbols of any spirit cards in your trash taht cost 2", so the way I understood it is it is looking at their symbols so Godbeast reduces cost by yellow symbols. Very interesting if it counts other 2 costs as well as that adds some power to the build. I haven't seen any rulings on that yet but will definitely keep an eye out for that now.
Ya, someone else pointed that out too. Red player was under the impression that the effects do NOT stack so he didn't. We bother weren't sure, I didn't see why not, but he chose not to since he didn't believe he was allowed to. Will definitely keep it in mind going forward.

You are correct. We got that ruling after the fact. This was actually our very 1st game, so tons of misplays here. Sorry about that.

Wrong. It sees other colour two costs but as they don't provide yellow reduction they do nothing to help cost reduction.
@@RedskarrTCG I promise you it's only 2 costs. Board wise it's still just yellow but in the grave the effect is for all 2 costs spirits.
