Most of them came to the country with tourist visa. But, they did not return to their homeland.
Indians have a strong supremacy in the country’s IT sector due to India based software and management system. Besides, a large portion of Indians have grabbed apparel and travel sectors in the country. Many Indians are also involved with advertisement and consultancy activities in different print and electronic media in Bangladesh.
Experts said, Indians have a strong position in the country’s garments sector. The domination is likely to increase in future due to sudden outbreak of coronaviruse among the Chinese.
It may fall a negative impact on the Chinese nationals, who are working in the country’s apparel and other important sectors.
Seeking anonymity, an entrepreneur said, Bangladeshi firms almost provide works to the Indian nationals due to use of their technologies in the software and management system. A bulk portion of the travel agents are still under control of Indians. Taking the advantage, most of the time, Indians get highly priority in context of recruiting. Such situation has been created only for want of government’s proper policy.

Incidently, the eye disease conjunctivitis became widespread with the coming of the refugees and was fondly called " Joy Bangla" in our school and may be most parts of Bihar and Bengal.

And also a fun fact ...the said Khondaker Mostaq Ahmad(traitor who came in power just after the assasination ) once was visiting Bongobondhu when Bongobondhu was feeding the fishes near his pond ... And Mushtaq did visit quite often , when Bongobondhu fed the fishes ..but a strange thing used to happen every time ..whenever only Mostaq would come to talk to Bongobondhu the entire flock of fish would swim to opposite direction ..whethere there was food or not ....and seeing this Bongobondhu even once asked Mostaq "মাছ গুল তোমাকে দেখলেই চলে যায় কেন বলতো মোশতাক?" (why do these fishes run away whenever they see you Mostaq?).........Nature really knows the evil . Still this day on every 15th August (*the day when Bongobondhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was murdered along with his extended family and when Khaleda Zia celebrates her birthday though 15th August is really not her birthday .Its just a cruel joke*) Common people of Bangladesh throws brooms,sandals and spit on Khondokar Mostaqs door ...he is not alive but hatred for him can never be finished ....may he wretch in hell......
