Without doubt he is a shrewd businessman. Like him, all the telecom chaps over-estimated the potential of telecom business. The number that 100 crore population lured and trapped them. But, as far as telecom business is concerned, for a common man, it is only a Rs.20/- prepaid economy. The business would have flourished even if every subscriber spent atleast 150/- every month. I mean, the fall is not all his fault. If the petrol prices continues its downward spiral for another 2 -3 years, his brother's business will face the same difficulty. If Anil managed to drag his woes for another couple of years, he might have got a reprieve from his debt due to the likely fall of dollar's value.
