I'm enjoying your videos from here in Wales, UK. I'm experimenting with home coffee making and hoping that I can work at an independent coffee establishment sometime soon.
This is the actual recipe in Australia (where the video is shot) and I’ve even seen it in major cities in Italy and England. Never seen it in the States.
I'm trying to become a barista at a local coffee shop. However, I'm having a challenging time. Any recommendations for someone who has no professional coffee experience but is a home brewer.
For any long black, it’s usually two thirds of the cup, mug or takeaway cup you’re using then the rest is with the espresso Sometimes it is also left low tide at the top in case people want to add milk or cold water to it
Hi I used to make latte in a 250 ml cup. My espresso would be 36 ml from 18 grams of ground coffee (1:2 ). Is that enough for the "standard of a latte" taste or considered to be lighter coffee taste?
Traditionally, it matters. Cap and Flat white should be 6-7oz. And latte should be around 10-12oz. But lots of cafe nowdays just serve it the same size but just different level of foam. My cafe serve 2 ristretto shot on cap and flat white and single espresso shot for latte. All in a 7oz cup.
Hi! About the sizes, we work with large and small cups, but we use for all our large coffees 2 shots and for the smalls 1 shot, just change the milk texture, its that wrong? Thanks!
@ImbibitorLunae-b5h I'm opening my own little shop soon and I'm only offering double shot capps and flat white is just standard dbl where we are. Nothing worse than a really milky capp or flat white. To me that's just so wrong 😅
I really can get enough of this it's just amazing ❤❤❤
Awesome to hear! Thanks so much :)

That's fantastic to hear thank you! I'm sure with your enthusiasm you will find yourself working in the coffee industry sometime very soon :)
@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters thank you so much. I really hope 🙏
Fast and to the point! Great video
That coco powder on the cappuccino wrecked my soul man 😬

Exactly how us Aussies feel when you guys add like 10 different flavours of syrups to your Starbucks “coffee”
You don’t get it guys it’s not what it’s HOW Jimmy tossed it on like a maniac 😂
Thank you soooo much for taking your time to teach us.my dream is to make coffees like you 🙏
I think it's cool how different we do some things❤
Mr coffee dose the cup size matters a lot or you can do in any cup please🙏

Watch as many videos here as possible, consume as much knowledge and experience as possible from various channels. And practice, practice, practice
Great video. How much water is in the long black cup before you extract?

Better TH-cam channel than Earthling Ed overall.
🗣️📢
For example my cups are all 8onz cups can I use for flat white, cappuccino and latte

double espresso + 120ml milk will be FW, single espresso + milk with more foam will be CAP, single espresso + milk with less foam will be Latte.

Why not a double riz for the long black out of interest ?
I need to intern with you to learn how to make these drinks
Hmm do you only use single shots for all your drinks? Or was it for demonstration purposes, and you actually use double shots?
It all depends on the type and size of the coffee that has been ordered. Some are single, some double ristretto and some are a full double (normale).
❤❤❤😊
if you are in the US, learn how to make a solid cortado as well...trust me
A cortado is very similar to a Piccolo, just with slightly less milk and in a cup, not a glass.
Cortado ? 😄
That’s what they call most likely the Flat White in Australia?
@@SchnauzerClinton cortado isn't very common in aus. Also a flat white is different, ostensibly a flat white is a latte but the milk is steamed less
if and when epilepsy ends I want to work at or open a cafeteria/ bar ☕️ I can also say it in the Ukrainian language
Does it change country to country? I'm in England and I think most cappuccino/flat whites are double shots
for modern light roast coffee cappuchino with double shots it's a must.
otherwise it will just taste like milk

Latte art, on a cappuccino 😬😬😬 LATTE art 😅
Absolutely :)
Isn’t the Flat white made with a double espresso? You did it with a single shot… 🤔
But why are you using these high dosages? 22g? 🤯
2:28 and 2:47. Latte in italian is milk. You’re saying milk milk 🤦🤦♀️🤦♂️
that chocolate ruined art
