    Hi, this is very helpful, thanks! Is there a way to have the powerpoint in a window and still see you as the presenter while going through the slides? In case you want to elaborate on a bullet point and not have the audience looking only at the PP but at your face while you talk further.

    Hi Kevin, love your work, quick question, we use teams for conferencing with video, power point and live demos. Most of the time we hit a problem during the presentation where teams just flat out refuses to play ball. We are thinking of changing to zoom or using OBS. we need something idiot proof, what do you recommend as the simplest way to share video, images, and live demos.
    Thanks in advance,
    Janet

    Hi Kevin, thx for your helpful and concentrated tipps re ppt-pres. Question: would it be possible to use a ppt-pres in slide-show mode plus animation to move from slide to slide as a background picture in Zoom ? The target would be to show changing pictures, fotos etc as background but to see the presenter at the same time

    Interesting options for sharing a PPT slide deck. It's good to have options when sharing a file. I appreciate that this video includes the attendee perspective since we can't always assess that when we're sharing a screen.

    Hey Kevin! I’ve spent ages preparing a PowerPoint for a presentation. It has some transitions and animations to make it engaging. No video though. However the transitions are super laggy even when I click optimise for presentation and lower the resolution of my screen. Do you have any other tips?

  • @henders01
    @henders01 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great introduction thank you. I need to be able to have my Ppoint slides on screen, a thumbnail of me speaking in the corner of the screen, my speakers notes visible to me (not to the audience, obviously) AND to be able to record the presentation on Zoom as I deliver the talk. The combination of ALL these requirements are beyond my skill set (which is very limited!) Many thanks. Regards David

    The browser method is an absolute life saver to be able to see my notes with the presenter view feature. The closest I can get without the premium version is to share with presenter view and only share the portion of the screen containing the slide (can be found in the advanced part of the screen-sharing options)

    Thank you very much for your very helpful video. I just wanted to ask you how you maneuver the "portion of the screen share" square so perfectly. For me, It is hard to handle and it is frustrating. It looks like your green square just follows you when you were dragging the shared PowerPoint ( 7: 25 timeline).

    QUESTION - AUTOMATION: As aIways, excellent job! I use a ton of automation in my slides, including transitions (such as morph). [A] Which method of sharing do you recommend for Zoom? [1] Do you recommend the advanced "files" sharing or rather that I [2] share my monitor or rather [3] share a window? And if a a window, do you recommend [3.1] full screen or window that is [3.2] not full screen (for possible lag) purposes? [B] I also have some large images. Which is the minimum pixel size or dpi that you would recommend? (PPT compression to 330 for example?)

  • @sharimcneill306
    @sharimcneill306 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    Excellent - but you could also show "partial screen" under Advanced Zoom. Great for showing Powerpoint slides while NOT in presentation mode but the attendee doesn't see the slide sorter, top bar etc.
