I have the comfort seat on my mt09. Not that much better then stock imo. I found my cbr954rr more comfortable on the highway on longer rides
If you do get a chance to test out an MT09 SP, I would love to hear your thoughts about it vs. the stock MT09, since you have a lot of seat time on yours!
Unplug the horn loosen one bolt rotate the bracket and plug it back in and it will be at least centered i did it with my sp

Have a 2016 blacked out and am really digging the quick shifter that comes stock, the new display, and the new look. Tempting to upgrade haha
I have rode one of each generation of the MT-09's and I will say that this new gen 3 feels completely different from the previous generations. it does not have the snappy throttle and stiff suspension that has plagued the previous models
@@Builtmoto that’s awesome, I love my 16 but it really sounds like they refined the platform. I haven’t ridden the gen 3 yet but I know I’ll want to upgrade as soon as I do haha

I'm sure you're aware. I've seen guys relocate the horn near the engine on the left side. What was your clutch lever choice and why didn't you change the brake lever. I see one is shorty and the other one is normal length.

I actually made a video about the windscreen. The one shown is a depretto moto screen but it is the exact same screen that you can get off of Amazon.

No it has been low even with the stock exhaust if I remember correctly. But yes my throttle hand does not help with it either

It was actually a wrap that I did myself with my two favorite Porsche colors, Mexico blue and nardo grey
Only have around 200 Miles, but ya already the seat sucks and also gas mileage, already filled up twice but at the same time I filled it with one or two bars left cause don't know how many miles they give you, cause the first large bar goes pretty quickly.
I have had it go down to a flashing bar a few times but even then it is still only 130 miles to a tank

Test the 22 mt10 and the tracer 9gt, then compare to your mt09
so I am waiting to try the new MT10, we have yet to get them here in the states and we get the Tracer 9 GT here but I have yet to see one for sale local to me.

No offense but don't know what akra was thinking when they designed this can, it's ugly! Way too long, stuck out. And as we all know, it's been about the only exhaust available for new gen. Again no offense but I pre-ordered Yoshimura AT2 system last mo for my '21. If I'm throwing down $1k+, looks means a lot when I can guarantee they'll be comparable it terms of performance, when both flashed competently.
I agree it is not a good looking exhaust. I have looked at getting a dominator exhaust for it that looks a lot better in my opinion. And be careful with that yoshi exhaust. I have read in the MT09 Facebook group that some people are having issues with it scraping when leaned into corners.
