That is a Frontier exclusive weapon call the Magnet Spike it basically transforms between cutting and Blunt damage although In this video I didn't use the blunt mode it's a very fun yet powerful weapon
@@athos9293 Just to correct some info the entire game is fully playable now only some part of it isn't translated unless you can read Japanese (which i cannot) some stuff are hard to complete but there is a program call Ferias that helps with that most Discord servers that brings frontier back to life has this program in some channels, if you're not sure where to find it just ask in the Rain discord server or the PewPewDojo server and someone should send you the link I also strongly recommend to download the Seph Rebalance patch as well since it makes progression better, this game was meant to be a MMO monster hunter but the rebalance patch makes it feels more like a regular Monster hunter game, less grinding and experiencing new hunts and not repeating the same one over and over In the end it all comes to personal preferences

MHFG is currently unplayable though there are people working on it. Frontier Z and Frontier Forward 5 can easily be played though
