Everyone is talking about your perfect CB gameplay, but can we just take a moment to appreciate the Lance at 3:42? To say that was cinematic is an understatement. It was absolutely beautiful.
@@sebtessier5023 It's really not bad at damage. I won't lie though the damage could be better, but a good way to look at it is if a HBG can kill a monster in 4 minutes, the Lance will do it in 8 minutes. So if the absolute best most broken damage in the game kills a monster in half the time as the Lance, it makes its damage comparison to other weapons a lot more palatable. So let's say you're using other Melee weapons, all of which have an arguably slower TTK than the HBG, the Lance suddenly doesn't seem so underpowered. Plus you get the additional time up never ever having to dodge an attack. So if you're playing Lance correctly, and you're guarding and countering all attacks, you're not having to stop and heal. You're keeping constant pressure on the target and ergo more DPS, now the damage starts to really add up. I know what you mean though, I wish the Lance had some more damage too. Because you are correct, it does the least amount of damage in the game. But even still it's putting out more dps than most people realize. Especially in skilled hands.
@@sebtessier5023 Since you're pretty much constantly hitting the monster it's easy to proc explosion or poison, or to have a decent elemental crit build, making up for the lack of burst damage :) With blight resistance and some armour sets giving some self-healing (Val Hazaak & Safi in World, Malzeno in Rise...) you pretty much only stop hitting when you're low on sharpness :D

World really captured the feel of hunting a monster, the maps, the endemic life, the enviroment, the particles, the scoutflies, the camps, everything just works so well It truly feels like what the original vision was for monster hunter fully realized
I feel that they sacrificed some stuff core to MH in order to make it that immersive and put that much emphasis on the ecology of the surrounding world. Hopefully they synthesize the best elements of World and Rise in Wilds, because that'd probably be the most GODLY outcome. Especially if they don't pull a World in how they required you to view every cutscene for a mission before you could play it with your friends, that was probably the worst decision they did.
@@G0LD3NR0D they should keep the graphics of world though. rise looked too cartoony i guess. idk the right word for it. it felt too fake and not like you were exploring another world with an actual ecosystem.

World was intended as a global simultaneous release across all platforms it was announced for, and I have absolutely no doubt that wilds will be the same considering they announced it for PC as well. That plus the trailer means we're DEFINITELY getting more world style graphics, which I agree are superior. Wilds if it wants to really be a huge success needs to take what worked really well for world while also keeping the best elements of rise.

On today's episode of "The MH Community is the best", I learned about a new guard point on Charge Blade, and that I hadn't truly mastered Long Sword yet! This video is incredible. You showed some real mastery with all these weapons; even if not the weapons, then the game as a whole. The Helm breaker off of the Iai Spirit slash which missed was impressive, and the various Hunting Horn and Charge Blade clips just amazing! One day, I hope to have mastered positioning well enough to be able to play Great Sword competently, let alone as well as you did!

This was beautiful. Thank you for making this. I'm a CB main and have 400 hours in and I put the game down at Fatalis because I had other responsibilities. This video makes me want to finally finish Iceborne by beating Fatalis and wearing his skin lol. Seeing your gameplay with the other weapons also makes me want to try them out. Maybe I'll try a new one out since my friend recently bought the game bc of the Capcom sale.

Honestly it's hard to find the words to describe how amazingly you fight, and the way your counters are like that Acidic Glavenus counter with switch axe was perfect and the wyvern fire counter with heavy bowgun makes me want to just hope on and run every single weapon until I can use all of them properly.
That guard point guard counter at 7:20 was never something I thought about before after almost 600 hours in. I always get so excited pulling of a SAED from a guard point that I never think about an exit plan. Until now. Fantastic stuff as always Mikarai
What a glorious piece, made every weapon seem so powerful. The only thing I wish it had was a name attached to each weapon clip, so that when I show it to my new MHW friends they can see which is which.

weapons in this game are genuinely so cool, i can never decide on just one lol. i typically use long sword, insect glaive, hammer, or bow but ive started learning dual blades aswell. this is so satisfying to watch bro im genuinely impressed
As a Gunlancer, I'm just glad you showed even a tiny bit of the "slap lance" playstyle. Reject shelling, embrace beating lizards to death with a gun barrel.
The biggest Highlight really was the GS gameplay. The dunks and clap backs are certainly one of the most difficult ones to do with GS. Also that GL clapback against nergi was beautiful like the complete video.
i'm late to the party but man, this was such eyegasm. I play almost all the weapons except HBG and gunlance, so this was just non-stop mastery. simply, amazing.
