Hello! I just wanna say that you are one of the best teachers I've seen so far, because you explain it simple so everybody can understand it. I'm just starting the pathway to character design and I think I'll take your videos as a starting point. *thumbs up* P.S.: After making 4 videos like this, you should add 1 more video with all these parts in it, maybe 1-2 weeks later, so you actualy get views on each of the videos and make it simple for others to catch up. :D
They are a very boring subject to focus but I have to force myself to enjoy these so I could Actually make my Illustrations better. It may be boring and I'm happy that someone is willing to teach these boring things. Happy to learn.
Loomis and Bridgeman are great, but when I just started with them, I found my growth limited. Michael Hampton's book really helped build a foundation to then go back to Loomis/Bridgeman. I found his teaching style a lot more natural to pick up, if anything. Thanks for the videos Clint, I'm enjoying this series so far.
These Art Fundamentals videos are so great!
Honestly. I’m happy they’re free too.

I had forgotten of Hampton, excellent suggestion. I've added him to the list in case anyone wants to check out his book.
This is my experience too. I feel like I understood more reading Hampton's Figure Drawing and Design
Same boat dude hampton was my foundation into figure drawing and then I expanded from there
Thanks Clint!
Thanks. Can't wait for part 3
the background music in the beginning sounded like doom music lmao 🤣
nice vid btw
It would be nice if you would make a video about different proportions of a male and a female body and face. But this is also really nice.
That's a good suggestion, I've added it to the list for the future.
(anorexic isnt a bodyshape, just putting that outthere) but good video, really helpful
Sorry but I gotta say that. I love how he says "Okke". XD
