The orignal 5.3/4l60e/np246 took about $1500 to swap in after selling parts off of the donor suburban. Could have been less than that even. If youre doing all the work yourself you can save a boatload of money. This was my first ever engine swap. Thanks for watching!

What transmission did you use?
Hey, What transmission are you running? And how did you get your 4x4 working if they do
4l60e to np246 push button transfercase. All works well. Had to do some trickery for the TCCM to go into 4 low and still shift through all the gears.
