    Great video Brendan.
    Two things 1) oil accidentally getting on the leadscrew is not a bad kind of problem to have :) 2) I did not see those skeleton clock frames in the workshop tour! Future video please! :D

      I said oil but what I meant was the chips and dirt stick to the lead-screw... just talking in one take.
      The skeleton clocks are work in progress. Not working...... I am yet to make a successful one. Project on hold. Once loco is finished I will revisit the project with my new skills. :)

    Have you made any attempt to level the bed instead of just screwing it to the table, and now the tubes and tray?

      In short no.
      I no longer have this lathe as i upgraded to a Super 7
      but the work I have been turning is only a inch or two long. so leveling was moistly pointless for the accuaracy I am aming to attain.
      I hope this helps.
      but you are right better accurancy could be attained with a better bench and setup.

      Magnet strips for kitchen knifes. I have some spare from the kitchen renovation.
