Don’t think I’ve seen Demi this healthy, secure, and strong, and it’s so beautiful to see after all these years. And Versha led the interview with such respect and vulnerability. Amazing video 💗
i know!! im so happy for her 😊 not everyone that struggles make it out of it, its so joyous when you get to see someone heal and become a better version of themselves!
I love the journalist speaking so openly about her mental health issues at the same time smiling, having her makeup hair perfectly done depression and she is worth to be taken seriously because sometimes people think depression is all black and No it can be vitalite by everyone
I was Demi's biggest fan as a pre-teen/teen. Her talent is undeniable and she's always seemed genuine to me. She's been open about her mental health struggles when depression and other illnesses/disorders weren't talked about much and while she's had her ups and downs since, I never stopped admiring her for that. Glad to see her doing better now. I'll definitely watch her new documentary as the topic of child stars is so interesting to me.
you can tell this hair color is like a revamped version of her 2018 blonde hair before her OD, the fact that she can go back to it and now create new happy memories makes me so proud of her ❤
@@PopCultureKing2009 but she was also blonde during the DEMI era and she was doing pretty ok then. and it's just a hair color... it doesn't mean something bad will happen.
If she has kids with her biological predispositions and her ideology I don’t think they’d be that stable. I hope she changes so she can be a mother who raises happy stable kids
24 Disney kid here, Demi’s acting and projects and music will always have a special place in my heart and I’m so happy to see her doing well and loving life
Demi saved my life back in the day. I am a couple years younger than her so I looked up to her so much in her Disney days. I grew up with junkie parents, I was bullied and beaten daily at school, and I was very depressed and suicidal because of it. When Demi came out with her album Unbroken and talked about all these issues it made me feel heard and like I wasn’t alone. I got help and slowly began to heal because of her openness and honesty.
I am the same way! I'm 29, just a couple years younger than her, and she is the reason I am still here today. I watch her mom's tik tok lives often too, and I can see where Demi was raised to be such a kind and wonderful soul!
I appreciate seeing a POC as the interviewer as you rarely see this! her modesty & professionalism asking these questions to Demi. A comfortable place for the two. Absolutely loved this interview always loved Demi and always will 🩷
Demi’s honesty has made it feel like she’s there with me when I’m in my darkest moments. Her leadership has given me permission to forgive myself for my mistakes and given me so much hope. I can’t thank her enough for what a blessing her honest interviews have been in my life 😭
I really root for her happiness, the documentary was awesome and so honest. She deserves the best and it's great to see that she overcame most of her difficulties
What a great interview! It was amazing hearing the interviewer also speak up about mental health :) You never know who is going through it, amazing video!
Makes me so proud to see Demi like this and how far she has overcome. You can see the way she carries herself and her glow that she’s in a way better than she’s ever been.
I’m not crying I’m fine. It’s cool. I’m cool. But seriously, having other people talk about this stuff, suicidal ideation and what depression is truly like and feeling trapped in your own mind. I respect these women so so much. Thank you. You guys make me feel like there is hope that perhaps I might get through this too ❤
She was so kind and respectful to the interviewer, and I can really appreciate both of your bravery in sharing this. Mental health is so important yet so hush hush
This interview was conducted with so much compassion, understanding and was so raw and love how she approached Demi Lavoto and was open and raw with her! We need more like lady who did this interview !!!!
Love this. Love the honesty. Love to hear her thoughts and what she’s become mentally and learning as everyone is. Mental health is outstandingly important.
@@jillsarah7356 I think they mean because of how she has a glow to her. She looks physically and mentally healthy and I think they're just pointing that out because it wasn't that long ago when Demi was struggling.
@MilesTarrant-ev6ju but spiritually, how is she ... inner being ...is she healthy? :Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks "Luke 6:45. I want to take the time to thank the interviewer. She didn't have to share personal information to Demi, but doing so is normalizing the talk about mental health. Doing so shows how common it is as well.
