Loved hearing her honesty. I was nervous because howard isnt necessarily the most sensitive interviewer and i really felt for her. but she did a great job

I’m so impressed with her vulnerability and strength. Went through something similar for over a whole decade and for the longest could not talk about it without breaking down.
As a 10 year weed smoker I totally get what she's saying about not being able to enjoy, I am one year sober and it is more rewarding just to feel present

Its a program offered through many churches and its excellent support. Hey even if you’re not Christian, it is ok, don’t let the fact it’s offered through church discourage you.
It’s a good program and it’s no judgement.

She is speaking truth here. Taking things to numb the pain only works for so long before you end up in jail or the ground. It takes away every emotion. No pain, no sadness, no regrets, no remorse, but also no happiness, no joy, no love, no compassion, nothing. It’s not worth it. It takes away all light of your existence. If you or someone you know is struggling seek the proper help and if someone doesn’t want it just don’t give up on them.

Talk about honesty - even though it was years later - the courage it takes to admit you still fucked up but you overcame and learned that yes, I cannot do any of that stuff due to my past mistakes. She owns her truths and put them out there on her own timetable, but she owns them.
Hope Demi's in a better place now and that they can have a peaceful life
