I have this headlamp, bought it for camping. Past couple of weeks I've been remodeling my house. When I was rewiring the attic I used it all the time, it was perfect and provided plenty of light for the job. Great headlamp, highly recommend this product.
just ordered mine in neutral white. cant wait to get it out and use it. its replacing a 5-6 year old zebralight h501. i just love the 1AA form factor for backpacking. I will use it with energizer e squared lithium primary cell. they weigh less than other cell types.

As soon as I saw you take it out of your backpack I knew right way this is what I wanted. Sorry I couldn't buy it through your link as I live in Canada. It's now in my EDC. I also ordered a Princeton Tec Apex 550 lumens for longer working periods
One advantage of the body being easily removable from the housing is that you can rotate it around to choose what hand you want to operate it with. Place it one way, it's right-handed, place it the other, it's southpaw.
Just happen to be in the market for a headlamp. I grabbed Thrunite Archer 1A from your review and like it a lot. Simplicity of use of this headlamp (holding button) is a nice feature. Wish it had a red light, but I'm going to grab this headlamp, thanks

I definitely prefer the backpacking style. Not only the weight, but the ability to go straight into the red light from off is something I really like. I use the Petzl Tikka plus.
I love the ThruNite products. Waiting for the AAA version of a headlamp based on their Ti or T01 series of heads. Single AAA so you can pack light with pack spare batteries.
Find an older solar driveway lantern. They used a aa rechargable, great camping charger for AA. The newer ones are set up for a lithium 1440 and won't fit aa, and may be wrong charge rate. I have a score of the older lights and use the smaller diameter ones for camping (just the top, not whole thing)

Nicely done! I have a few Petzel's and a couple Princeton's but I do like Thrunite products. I like this one better then my other ones.
I go into attics occasionally as a cable technician and I use this bad boy every time. Works like a charm.

Great looking headlamp! I use the blackdimond 120 lumuns right now nice and light on the head! Nice 520 lumuns on that will it over heat?
Yes, recommend eneloops instead of 14500.

I bought one because of this review. I am very pleased that I did. This light kicks butt when using the 14500.

the other one is called the black diamond spot. also IPX8 waterproof with a much longer runtime of 200 hours.

just depends on the battery you want. RCR123A or AA/14500. Both great headlamps.
I have one and I like it above all others. My daughter took it though. ThruNite has good products.
