Thanks for reviewing this. I have had the petzel elite for 5 years now. It has never failed me and at 27g, it's the light bomb! I do like the fact yours is USB recharable and the price looks great!
I like this but the main headlight mode should be first in the sequence. I hate cycling through modes just to get to a basic operation. Wish it had a switch to change between main headlight & special modes. Can't complain to much at size and price point.
Cool light! I'll defiantly look into it for my bike. For other tasks thought the Vitchelo V300 is brighter better for me at least when I go walking (also it does weigh in at 0.3 oz, has 5 modes, tilts, IPX6...blah blah lol). The recharging on the Nitecores is nice though too I got the Tube, Tip & Thumb all good lights. Ty for the video!
Psh only $14 on Amazon I bought 2 and giving one to my bro. Too cool, I saw a guy wearing one on his watch and was like wth is that cool looking gadget and had to ask being a gear nerd.
got to love that price....especially with the kit only being $5 more...and good news ...my older headlight broke ...and now I got another (and lighter light for my bike too )...so hmmmmm..... Thanks Ben once again another product you demo and I have to buy it LOL.... great review
I have this light connected to the molle on the back of my backpack and use the blinking red mode whenever I bike at night. I only recharge maybe once every two weeks
I'm going to purchase one of these, nitecote had been my go to for UL backpacking, great video! Better than a review video until i just saw the back side of this I wasn't sure about it. Thanks. 👊🏻
Handy dandy backup but not sure why the solid white light comes at the end rather than the beginning of the programming sequence when it already has such a finite charge. Good thing I'm not a gram weenie lol.
Alan Williams Agreed. I had to "rewind" twice because I thought I missed the constant red. Why would they leave that out? Having the little red LED be constant on and the two bigger red LEDs do the 50% duty cycle flash would have been perfect! Meh. Quite happy with my Tip for a white light.
nitecore tube only weights 9g. With my diy headband its 13g. brigther max output, longer run on low output, less weight, variable output, no redlight, no blinking

i never liked the modes on the elite or the elastic strap although their new strap looks better.
I really like it. Might grab one. The constant red would definitely be nice. Maybe on the next version. I may wait and see if they do.
Nice! I have the Nitecore NU 25 headlamp and it works great for backpacking.

thanks for watching.
seems like nitecore wants me to have a seizure before i get to the solid lights.

thanks for watching Paul.
Great video. Thank you. Super sad they didn't have a solid red.

Backpack You used at the video, is that a Wisport in WZ. 93 camo?
Found a book that you might like it is titled CAMPING IN THE OLD STYLE by David Wescot, it is a hard bound book.
is the bike mount compatible with nu06 le?

how much it weights with the strap and the battery?
ThanQ for filming, great review
USB, love it. Good price. I'd buy it. Thanks for sharing. Tony
I really like this light, thanks for the overview -
why is not first bright white??? why???why.?..why?? it is a extreme pity
What were they thinking?
Sweet light weight headlamp! Nice demo and review. What was cooking on the fire pit Ben?
just wood ;)

Yeah, seems like it should.
Cool little tools.
Ben are you gonna review the Benchmade bugout?
yes, on the horizon. need to use it a bit first.
no always on red is a non purchase for me.
solid low red for moonlight and solid low white like 5-10 lm would have been much better.
The link doesn't work it goes to a backpack not the light.
fixed, thanks.
I'd wear the headband in reverse while walking my dog, on my BOB, and two on my bike. Nice!
yep!

Good review
Only option that kills it for me... no constant red. Other than that, it seems pretty cool for that price.
Yep ,would have been nice although i'd use my other headlamp for hunting which has red light and this one on my pack or as a backup.
That's what I was thinking... a very nice backup (and solar rechargeable). Thanks again Ben!

that works too.
If it was lighter I'd buy one... pretty cool light.
Yeah I'm sure I'll end up buying one.
a head lamp that gives you 1 hour of light.....yeah
John Godwin ...it's best as a signalling device or for short uses if the constant white light is used
I like it, but Nightcore has horriable customer service on warranty issues.
You lost me at 35 lumens. Cheers.
Graham wheenie?😂🤣😅😃🤣😂😅😆😁😄😃😀
;)
its to heavy
LOL
1st???
