Oh Hello Wild Ones! Hope you're all good and thanks for stopping by our lil video 🙂 Frank has his own playlist now, so if you're into watching a slightly miffed blow up doll being dragged around the mountains, this one's for you: th-cam.com/play/PLnQBWkoyqKjHaUtjydt3tzf5W5gsc8jh2.html&si=UTc6FE53jKyEpPGn STAY FLOOFY 💚🌿💚
No1 channel 💯 percent true
Hello Claire, you are so so funny, I love your humor! Really enjoyed this one, but then again, I always enjoy yours. I am the guy who lives his outdoor adventures through you since my untimely stroke. You are the very best!
Frank's a lucky fella...Thanks Claire 🌻🐌
Nvm his own playlist, this dude needs his own channel - where he drags YOU around on a leash 😎🤣
Great video as always, much love from Denmark ❤
😂 Loved this one, thank you@
Imagine being on a hike and you see a cheery girl with a camera and a blow up doll on a lead... the mind runs wild.
Only in wales
??her son is well looked after & she does this afterwork hobby.so what's your problems dickkunt
Yet, if it were a man with a blow up doll in the same situation nobody would require any imagination at all! 😂
Wife material
How u doin lol
Frank's arm! I spit my tea out!!! 🤣
Arm .... sure😂😂😂😂😂
lol .. same here
THOUGHT IT WAS A SCENE FROM AIRPLANE!
It's very important to use a sturdy pole when erecting ones shelter!!!
next time do not waist swallow
Frank seems a happy chap. He never becomes deflated no matter what life throws at him.
Under the circumstances you'd be smiling too.
Life hasn't thrown knives yet though.
Frank isn’t complaining. Out there in just shorts. He’s a madman.
Must be a Swede or something
@@cyclingsalmonhaha. Hello 👋 from Poland 🇵🇱 and my rural life channe😊
Had to use that shelter for real in horrible weather when out walking with a friend and it was amazing. We were really cosy and it certainly boosted morale to know we were dry and warm.
The blowup doll cracked me up! My dear, you do the things we often only think about doing. Thanks forever for being you.
I've never thought of camping with a blow up doll 😂
@@musictomyears870 Hah! Nor have I.
Frank seems like a good hiking companion. Doesn’t talk much, complain or hog your food.
Poor Frank, you had him up all night 😂
Wish I was frank😋
For all of our international friends, this is a fine example of being British.
😄👌
international friend here, love all my british friends! kindly from canada
Frank seems nice, I'm glad you've found love and had company on one of your camps. I hope we get to see more of Frank 😂
Nah, there’s no explaining walking upon this scenario 😂
Thanks Claire, the lesson here being, be familiar with your gear, and DON'T let an emergency be the first time you use it!
Haha imagine if anyone walked past you with Frank strapped to your back, they would think you must have got lost on a Hen Weekend.
I thought " Switch genders in the same situation, & I'd be arrested " " Some creepy guy was caught in the wild lands with. an inflatable "
😅 very lost
A woman with a blow up doll oooooooohhhhhh how kinky 😂😂😂😂
I use these for many things.
1. To get changed in before a canoe trip.
2. To warm up after the canoe trip.
3. A place to rest a while on long walks. A brew and butty out of the elements makes all the difference.
I keep some sweets and handwarmers in in, just in case I do need to use it 'in anger'.
I'd rather not spend a night in one, but that 6 degree bump up could be what keeps you alive.
Yep totally agree, great bit of kit they are :)
Are you referring to the shelter or the doll? 😉
I'm really enjoying all your videos!!!
Love the introduction of Frank to the mix. You have fabulously warped sence of humor. 😂
These emergency bothy bags really are life savers, we use them frequently to keep the elements off people that have had accidents. Sometimes just a case of holding them over to keep the sun off, other times you find yourself in there with the casualty, dog and a couple of people trying to work around in a super small area. For the size and weight always worth having one in the bag
I agree they're a great bit of kit :) really impressed
@@joshovki But the real question is 'why take Frank'?. Great bit of kit....I agree 🙂
@@jeremyroberts39 because it was a two person shelter and needed to be tested with two persons.
Not too sure what that says about our Claire's social circle 🙂
Then in the local farmer's pub later that day... "So Dafydd you're saying you went to assist someone in an emergency shelter up in the hills, you'd heard shouting at somebody called Frank, but as you got nearer there was a girl with a camera and an inflatable man on a dog lead ???" "Landlord ! get Dafydd a drink...a STRONG one!"
😅 ahh what a great story haha!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
For only wearing shorts Frank handled it like a champ . That was a fun episode, i really needed that today, thank you . And thanks for taking us with you on your journeys
Frank takes you to the nicest places. What a gentleman.
😄 He really does 💚
Love seeing Frank strapped to the backpack at the end. His dignity is a small price to pay for such mirth. Thank you, Frank.
Haha he certainly takes one for the team doesn't he. Thanks for watching :)
You’re one crazy girl, I absolutely love what you’re doing for the sake of science and safety 😂😂
Frank looked happy too 😂
Haha thanks :D I do like him tagging along
@@WildBeareFRANK if you are being held against your will, and need help. Blink 3 times.
That’s a romantic getaway for two … I loved this vlog so well done and well done Frank you didn’t complain even once …great test of the shelter overnight as I have the same exact one 🙏
Your sense of humor is nuts..😂😂 I bet there was a wee bit of an argument when ya told Frank he was going whether he liked it or not!..lol. He did look like he was there against his will...and walking out with him visible strapped across your backpack was priceless for all to see. Seriously tho...micro climates can save your life in bad weather conditions.
Good job ya nut!
Have fun....God Bless....Stay Safe
Frank is her castaway wilson
Haha he likes to complain but I think he secretly enjoys getting out & about. Yes deffo, so impressed with the warm lil area this created :D thank you so much for watching
@WildBeare Actually in a real world situation you would of layed on Frank to seek comfort and get off of the floor as long as he didn't pop.
It would of been a great shot if you were layed back talking to the camera explaining how the night went....."Frank seemed to fair the night with no issues or complaints"......and then ya tilt your head to the side showing Franks big ole smile under ya!
I would of died laughing!..😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oh Claire!!! 🤣 That was so incredibly Silly, that I Loved it even more!!! LOL!!! You are a Rare Gem!!! ❤
I am glad you keep him in line, make sure Frank knows who is boss
Claire - on behalf of all the Franks of the WildWorld, we than you for always having the foresight of what "could" possibly happen, and for that, you bringing your "girlie stuff bag".
Haha yep, a girls gotta brush her teeth when sleeping in a soggy orange bag
@@philhollingdale7593 methinks it included a puncture repair kit........but not sure cos I'm not a girlie! 🤔
I know the point of the vid was to test the shelter but my favourite bit is the last 2mins, wood roaming, tipping rain and Frank side-riding the backpack. Love your work 😊😂
I've only just recently come across your videos, but I'm hooked! I don't get to leave my home much because of my mental health and watching your wild adventures really makes my day 🥰
Hi Lottie from England.check out all her vids.she's an amazing human spiritual being.she just camps where ever she wants.& as a 6'2 man I'm not sure I would want to do that.
Heyy, welcome to the channel, so glad to have you here :) hope you have a lovely week 🤗
Thank goodness for social media. Those that have anxiety can still interact with others at their own comfort level.
Frank is a star. Probably should have his own channel. Oh and you are pretty good too Claire😀
Haha he says thank you so much 😃
You have chosen another lovely place again, Claire :)
I can't wait for the next video, to hear your calming, mesmerizing voice again :)
Solid gold! Nothing but smiles on my end. No Midges here though. Thanks for taking Frank out. He needed this!!
Claire, I darn near rolled off the sofa laughing when the opening clip was you wrestling with a blow-up doll! 😂
😄 Frank's such a character
@@WildBeare Dear, YOU are the character - that's why we love you! BTW - Greetings from Denver, CO, USA!
" Frankly" speaking, this was a creative take on emergency shelter survival. Good job!
Hehe thank you :)
Hit me with the clair de lune and I stopped paying attention and shut my eyes. Absolute bliss song
Hello Claire, so good to see you back out enjoying the beautiful countryside. Frank looks a little terrified having to use the little shelter. Have a wonderful time and stay safe.
I’m Frank and my wife and I were cracking up at this video. The painted on chest hair is hilarious! Great video.
Hello Frank 👋 haha so glad you guys liked it. He was actually delivered like that with the chest hair, although I added a pair of pants for modesty. Thanks so much for watching :)
@@WildBeare thanks for adding the pants!
😂 lol Claire your such a wildone ... Bringing Frank with you on adventures ... You brought me tears on my cheeks from laughing ... Good one ...
Well hey there Claire! It's always good to see you and ol' Frank enjoying some nature time together. I'm just happy to see that you had him on a leash for this outing 😉 haha. Seriously... this was a very fun one to watch :) You and Frank always make for an entertaining duo 👍 That survival shelter looked awesome as well... probably the best one that I've seen in terms of actual practical usability.
Have an amazing week dear friend! 😊
And as always.... Stay wild 🐻 -John
That’s a good bit of kit. Frank was the star if the show
You and Frank nailed it Claire it was nice that he was so helpful😂
I have had my life venture survival shelter for over 20 years. They are absolutely brilliant. Fortunately, I never have had to use it in a serious situation, but to warm up, take a break or get out the weather it is superb
your voice and tone with the footage is so beautiful and calming. awesome work!!
It's like mountain stream.& She's so beautiful.saw videos couple of years ago & there was jealous bitches moaning about make up& change of clothes.of course!she's on TH-cam .she edits her videos morons.1 of the prettiest, most beautiful woman I've ever seen
Thanks so much :)
Yes, Claire, you have a very soothing voice.
Never seen her before and I already like her. She could of edited Frank's arm out of the video but she kept it in - now that's my kind of humor.
The video I've been waiting for ... thanks ever so much, Claire. For a long time now I've wondered how these would cope overnight, especially as I've been carrying one for ages. And, as for Frank, well I can only say it's a dog's life. Thanks, Claire. Really good stuff as usual.
Glad you carry one, I'm gonna start carrying this one in my day pack now, really impressed with it :D thanks for watching 🙂
@@WildBeare hope you see this. Your channel has fast become my favourite amongst a heady mix of Camping with Steve, Simon a Bloke in the Woods, Kent Survival, to name but a few. You're managing to mix a degree of self-inflicted jeopardy with humour and genuineness which really appeals. Pitch in your star photography, Frank and talking bugs and you've got a winning combination. It also helps that you spend a lot of time in Wales so I have a ready comparison with my home area. Mind you, your trek home last week was also excellent. Well done on working so hard to get together some of the best videos I've seen in this oeuvre.
My name's Frank and this is my S&M trip with Wildbeare ...lol
😅😅
Claire, you motivated me to put together a little backpacking trip this last weekend (my first in my life), props to you, it wasn't easy. I started with a little 5 mile (8 km) overnighter, but I may have packed too heavy, my pack came in at 50lbs (23 kg) and the hike was mostly up a mountain so it really tested me ... BUT, once I was there, away from everybody, I loved it. I love your channel it is so motivating and uplifting😁
Hello, Claire! Always great to see another video!
Thanks
Thank you so much 💚
Frank was the best guest ever, please have him back soon
Glad you liked him, he's a nice bit of company for me haha
@@WildBeare I'm watching your 100km journey now! Lovely film, I think today is WildBeare day :)

@@markcutting6504 Thanks Mark!
frank is the funniest thing i have seen in a while wasn't expecting it though 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I freaking love it when you upload Claire the tent thing looks so uncomfortable like fair play you have some serious patients to put up with it and frank
Haha thanks I think it's Frank's the one who has serious patience putting up with me though 😄
Have a nice week :)
I love the way you have a back up plan, and sometimes a back up plan to the back up plan. Shows good forethought, and helps us viewers know the wildbeare is safe. I don’t see frank protecting you much Claire 😂, so glad you think these things through. Russ
I don't know if Claire is an INTJ (based on the Myers-Briggs type indicator), but if so, then this would be the usual modus operandi. People of this type plan in advance, think through it carefully before acting and have back-up plan's for back-up plan's. Anyway, I'm quite sure she's an introvert 🙂
@@MarkusGeheimpretty sure :). Greetings from Poland and my rural living channe😊!
Claire, you are amazing. I've never seen anyone bring along an inflatable partner to simulate an emergency survival situation.
There are probably folks that thought it would be an emergency if they didn't have a partner, but I bet no one thought of an inflatable friend. Nice that you clarified about Frank's arm, there could have been some mistaken people thinking the wrong thing.
Those emergency shelters would work for an emergency. I'm not sure I would want one in extremely cold weather.
Thank you for sharing, and I hope you and Frank managed a little rest before heading home.
God bless you young lady and stay safe on your travels.
Ahh thanks haha yes it's nice to have Frank along with me now & again
They really are good, I'm quite impressed but yes, cold would be a different matter. Still compared to not having one, could be a life saver!
Thanks so much for watching :)
Why is it that your films always calm me down.
I live in the Sierra Nevada in Spain.
It is as a lot know our stupidly hot season.
I've had a lot to do today in 38⁰c heat and it has taken its toll.
Sit down and watch you Claire and im now relaxed.
Thanks.
Oh and thanks to Frank too.
Hilarious.
Keep them coming you.
Love from Spain.
Love the sound of the light rain🥰
One of the best sounds isn't it 🌧 along with tawny owl 💚🦉
All I'm saying is if I was hiking along and saw you and Frank I would be hiking in the other direction...you know for safety reasons. Lol
This video made me laugh Claire ,out in the hills with a blow up doll😊if I did that I'd get arrested ❤
Well done, Claire. Another great video. You always make me laugh! Poor Frank in the collar and leash! Just imagine people stumbling across you and Frank? lol. :) The survival shelters are great. I always have one when I go hiking and also great for cycling and waiting out the rain. You can get the bike underneath and it supports the shelter up.
Ahh yes that's a great idea with the bike. I'm really impressed with this one, deffo gonna start carrying it in my day bag.
Thank you, so glad you liked it, Frank has a great time I think, he just won't admit it 😄

@@WildBeare Thanks, Claire! Have a great week too! :)
And Frank was having a better nights camping than most of us!
Thanks!
Thank you so much 🙂🌿💚
Frank had a glorious time in the shelter.
I laughed so hard during this video. And that you leashed Frank to your waist with a line that looked heavy duty enough to haul a car was hilarious. And when you had to say ‘this is his arm’ I burst out laughing. I love your unique and intrepid adventures.
omg frank killed me :D imagining going for a stroll and seeing you with Frank strapped to your backpack like that haha
So I just watched a lunatic sit in a field in a neon binbag with a blowup doll overnight? I love TH-cam! I do appreciate the effort you put into being as prepared as you can be.

Frank on a leash .., didn't know you made those sort of vids! Great fan!!! 😊❤
No wonder Frank's on a short leash! He insists on gallivanting around with no knickers! 😂 Wow, the midge tornado! Very good advice regarding hypothermia Claire. Buns was smart to wait in the dry car. 😊 Glad you stayed warm. Have a splendid week. 🌲🏕🌲

That honestly would not be the strangest thing I've seen.
😂😂
@@dalegrover7633 Lighten up for gawd sake.
The orange reminds me of the survival bags we used in the 80's which were just massive polythene bags to sit in and shelter from the weather. We only used them once when we were caught out in very dense fog on a day hike high up in the lakes. They would potentially save lives in bad situations. Looks like they are now more sophisticated and comfortable.
Ooh yes I've seen these! Actually I think my sister carries one in her hiking bag. I'll try one at some point, I can't imagine it being fun in rain but like you say, still could be a life saver. Any shelter is better than no shelter, I think something like this makes it much more tolerable though
Thanks so much for watching :)
Clare, I hate to break this to you, but seeing the way Franks legs folded, I don't think he's gunna walk again 😮
I don't know.. he's proven remarkably resilient so far. But if that is indeed the case, I suppose at least he can't run away? Haha
Looks like LifeSystems makes a pretty decent product but clearly still room for improvement. Like including a ground sheet as part of the kit, or incorporate the ground sheet into the shelter itself and skip that sitting patch they have. Still think you could make yourself a better emergency shelter with a spare bivvy bag and some other odds and ends, to either put in your day trip pack or even keep in the trunk of your car.
Loving your vids as always and nice to see something different other than a normal tent. Your fella didn't have much to say don't think he appreciates the outdoors❤😂
Thank you :) yes I think you might be right haha
Another great demonstration of emergency/alternative camping equipment. done with cheerful, confident humour. As always seeing you do things that I have never even considered, (and as I am old & knackered it is too late now)
😂😂😂 loving frank strapped to your pack 😂😂😂
Me and my partner used one of them during a storm near to the summit of Ben Nevis, kept us warn and dry. if you can both get your legs right, then you can make a brew in-between them.
We always took it with us after that 🙂
Firstly, a wiggling chrysalis and next morning exiting, a beautiful butterfly.
As a "wild one" myself I can honestly say that I have never seen anyone camp with a "Frank". Two hiking poles and a few pegs would have made all the difference 🌲🔥🌲🔥🌲 X
Saving this for the weekend....cannot wait! Always love your adventures!!
Cheers from the Prairies of Canada! ⛺️✌️🇨🇦
Heyy have a lovely weekend friend! 🌿💚
Well done. An amusing take on the effectiveness of having the right gear and partner in an emergency. Great common sense dispersed in a Frank and amusing way
You made me laugh...lucky Frank
Well done a great episode. Much needed review of the survival shelter. Thinking of chap recently out for day hike, fell and broke his hip. Not rescued for 3 days; in addition was not spotted because of dark clothes. Shelter vital if alone with changing weather.
yay, another wild adventure!
If I or anyone saw you coming out of the woods with Frank on your back, we'd have all been rolling on the floor with laughter; you're so cool... Speaking of Frank, you looked nice and toastie throughout the early hours, poor Frank was only in a pair of shorts; how could you. 🤣🤣🤣
Frank seems happy to see you! 😂😂😂
I appreciate you willing to do what looked to be truly miserable. Between the bugs and that sauna bubble, I would have been out pretty quick. But I perhaps would have stayed for Frank.
Franks a lucky guy 😊
I always carry a larger version for a group, and really the only way to use it to have everyone standing around the edge with the shelter over the group and sit down in one go. Another thing to consider is how warm it would be if Frank contributed with more than just voice overs:P
Frank come back 🤭😁😁great trip 🏕️
