The fact that Lucy's life before joining fairy tail is very similar to Isabella except her father was the one who wanted her to be the perfect golden child and she wanted to be free of the expectations just like Isa.
I love how you can clearly see that in the perfect ver of Isabela her voice sounds foced to be high, but then when she is angry it's deeper and it even continues to be normal and kinda deep after she's free of the perfection concept she was stuck to💀💖

Isabela’s Japanese Seiyuu for me, while talented is a bit TOO high just for the fact that it comes off a bit babyish & she’s supposed to be 21 & I get that she’s meant to be portrayed as a princess at first but we all know it’s an act & the few moments where Isabela’s dialogue is spoken with a deeper register are actually better. But I am aware a LOT of Seiyuus do characters this way.
I think its fitting tbh, that high voice sounds really forced and fake especially when her voices becomes deeper when she's angry. It's a good contrast and kinda symbolic that she's hiding something behind her tone. Your opinion is valid, of course, since it isn't everyone's cup of tea. Edit: Also I'd like to bring up that it feels like her voice sounds higher with Abuela which is interesting and a nice touch.
That's funny because her English VA sounded a lot more higher to me (which I didn't mind BTW). This VA has a much lower voice and sounds very mature to me which is perfect for the character. 😊💐🌸
