- Your baby is 8 months old, or officially 2/3 of the way to one year old! In this video, I will walk you through exactly what kind of developmental milestones and activities you should be looking for in your eight month old baby. The basis for my video is centered around the Ages and Stages Questionnaire, which is a research based milestone screener to identify possible delays. Many pediatric offices use it around the world! It is broken into five categories: communication skills, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, personal social skills, and problem solving skills. I hope this video is helpful for you in knowing what your 8 month old child should be able to do!

This video is very helpful for tracking my baby's developmental activities, my baby just turned 8 months now, and im so happy he can do all of this developmental skills now, he can stand up alone now on it's own without any support, he can also recognize his own pillow and blanket. I didn't test her but I know what she does and she does everything described, also I looked over and her and saw a bunch of the motor skills and problem solving and such. I think she scores low in communication though. We're a quiet family. My other didn't start talking until almost 3 year old also so I'm not too concerned. Now she doesn't stay quiet of course ;)
I thought my kid was behind on the motor skills. He's 7 months and from this score he's 45. He rolls over sometimes, doesn't get into crawling position or even tries to but everything else he does no problem.
Where did you get the toy for standing up at 5 mins for the last gross motor skill?

My baby is 7 and a half. She is not looking towards sound or calling her.. she did bera hearing test . It was fine. Other motor developments are ok. I am worrying about communication developmental delay. please reply to me.

Ohhhhh she prop divides the result with the sum total of points u can get so…. I think if it’s a perfect score it’s 40 divided by 40 or 100 or idk!! bc that still doesn’t make any sense lol 😂 😂

My baby is 8 1/2 months old, she does everything except babbling. I am a bit concerned. She did say mamam,tata and mama once but thats it. Though She’s making sound like ooh. Is that ok?

She doesn't have to do it all! Just enough to cross that benchmark score. If she isn't, talk to your pediatrician. My daughter did PT for a while and there's no shame in asking for extra help; not reaching milestones yet is not on a reflection on you as a parent.

wont say alot but can make some words out. mama dada nana yeh. wont crawl dosnt understand no yet. i want him to crawl but theres no sign of it
Doing this and more at 7months , held his own bottle from 2 weeks old now he’s a pro doing it with one hand and tossing it up high to get every last drop 😂

He responds when he wants lol.
But he does do things when told.
Right now he is in speech therapy because he hasn’t said his first full word that we can full understand.
My seven months old baby started saying papa ate and crawling sitting also and sometimes she is stand by her self in the corner 😊.. and walking in the side of the table..

Neither is mine. He really doesn't even want to sit. He just wants to throw himself back.
Don't be pressured momma, it's ok just let your baby develop slowly at their time, my baby started crawling at 10months and I wasn't concerned at all as long as he's healthy
