We never got rid of the national education, association, and whatever it is runs our education system. In the future, this is the brightest and best. LOL

Considering that the story started with him asking why he had to be in a psychic sensitivity class.. I think this was his entire plan to get out more boring school work
So after listening to a bunch of these stories I've deduced the following...
1. in war, humans are initially ridiculed or dismissed until they show they're the deadliest most bad-assiest species in the galaxy.
2. Little human girls children are scary calm when facing carnivorous death-beasts, and calm them down to form instant bonds of friendship
3. Galactic classroms are all full of prissy alien teachers, timid alien students, and one brash human who is somehow the best at just everything the class is teaching, even tho they're incredibly rude and have no business in a galactic classroom when they obviously never excelled in regular school.
4. AI narrators suck
and
5. Maybe a little more imagination and a little less pro-humanity propaganda in sci-fi. There are other ways to be all "humanity is the best" without the main characters just saying it all the time or being instantly better than everyone at everything just because they're human and not for any other reason
This is just the fun, low-brow schlock. Especially great for listening to on the road. There are plenty of other good, well written and unique "pro-human" sci-fi stories out there if you are looking for that. Get over yourself. Better yet, just search a little, there is a ton of really great stuff out there. Not a crucible, bristling with weapons, acrid ozone, or just beginning to be found. There's even a couple of channels, one in particular, that has several fantastic human voice actors / narrators.
trust me I've seen stories with tropes far more boring and worse than these

Imagine an old rickety rope bridge it swings back-and-forth constantly being unstable, and most people don’t want to go across it, but say you add supports at the bottom to keep it steady people will go through That’s probably how this worked

And in this story the human psychic zone acted like sandbags used to stem the flow while repairs are being done

More like Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy meets the X-Men.
The narration isn’t too bad, but, the “closed captions” are so far from accurate that they add nothing to the story other than complete confusion. By all means show changing pictures but get rid of the bovine poo that is the “closed captions”. Frankly they’re feckin useless and cause more confusion, something that isn’t helpful with the story line which is just a basic AI and not a good one in the first place!
Other than that, the story lines from this channel are quite entertaining but they are in desperate need of editing properly before being uploaded. Crap AI and useless captions aside I would still recommend this to others that enjoy this kind of short story but with at least one caveat - patience is required and keep your eyes closed or you’ll get a heck of a headache reading and listening whilst your subconscious is automatically trying to correct the the lousy spelling or the grammar.
