Your continual banter sounds like me. I personify lug nuts, stuck rusty crappy stuff, etc. Good on you!

Hello, from a fellow Canadian and TH-cam author. Great explanation, love the funny dialogue. I'm sub'd.

Why not disconnect the tie rod and upper strut connector so the whole assembly rolls down away from the axle? Leave just the ball joint connected? Gives you full access behind the bearing hub to get to those 4 bolts. Is it a rust fear? I'm about to try this but that bolt drilling and hammering seems too much.

Do you ever use the lanolin based products like Crown, etc?

I am no mechanic, and may have just missed it? but is it possible that the axle nut was so hard because you didn’t un-crimp the detent first? I’m not sure if you are supposed to but I always try.

I used this tutorial because it was all I could find and holy fuck the amount of sifting through the dribble to reach the actual information to remove 1 nut and 6 bolts is... Too much.
Also telling me to check something to "see if I'll cry" gives me 0 information about what I'm actually looking for.

I'm Brown my friend. Based on the logic of the world today I can't be racist. I don't see how you got that from a automotive repair for you but good job.
