just did two of these (in the rusty north east) in under 3 hours. You need an air hammer. Wedge it between the bearing and the hub, alternating left to right. They come right out.

I’m so thankful you made this video, have a cyl 2 misfire showing up on my 2.0t and I was about to look at everything that wasn’t ignition related as a had already moved some of the plugs around and still had a cyl 2 misfire… turns out I should probably look into it more. Thanks

Use a large plastic syringe to fill the rear diff.

Tomorrow ill be doing mine. And will probably play and reverse alot. Good thing its still summer swapping this out. Will update.

I just replaced the bushings and sway bar links on the front end of my 2004 STI. Not an easy fix but got it done without breaking any bolts. Plenty of spray and some heat did the trick.

I am doing my first set of these right now, your method does work but it is a lot easier if you take out the outer control arm bolt, granted in Canada/New England that bolt might not be an easy remove but it did work better for this old man with a bad shoulder :) Thank you for the video!

Ended up having to buy the dealer fluid + a code reader that can read transmission temp… yikes. $900 later, it’s fixed. Very expensive mistake. But I am just so thankful to you and to God I was able to fix it for her.

Great video. Just replaced mine on a 2010 XT, only problem I had was that I didn’t realize how worthless my impact driver was with 120ft-lbs of torque. Pb Blaster a hammer and wrench got through it without any snapped bolts even in lake effect snow country at 200,000 miles

Thanks for your video. On my Kadjar, the fan is not turning freely. I suspect the poor quality of the bearing...As seen on your video,, I removed the sticker on the fan boby and found that it's a Nissan one. Same procedure, I will have to change by a new one...

You said it is a 14 gauge cold roll pipe, what is the diameter or size of the pipe. Is it 1 3/4?

1. how do know for sure if it's the fan that needs to be replaced? Mine is not turning just as my car is about to 65000 miles. 2. That part about the battery so you don't activate the air bag. I could use little more detail about that. Fan doesn't come on when engage the AC. I still get a little bit of cold air but it doesn't last. I want to check the fuse but it is a bitch to access the panel on a 2020. HELP!

Was waiting for you to lift the car but that's a good place to mount it. There isn't a real reason that starters need to be under the transmission. Saves them pennies on wire too. Maybe it's a cooling thing because they're too busy dumping everything else on top of the engine. Just engine mounted transversely and a pile of shit on the right.

All I needed to see was how the plastic trim on the interior comes off. Why did I have to hear 16 minutes of your foul language? Thumbs down, guy. I work on this stuff with my kids and I had to mute the video.

I pulled 4 litres out and put 4 back in and the level is still reading high This would have been a nightmare not knowing how much to pull out
