If you are reading this David I would like to say on behalf of all fans of music 🎶 that you are a treasure and your music will go on forever ❤️.God speed James
Still heartbroken with James demise. David pack's voice hasn't change a bit. This song, so great. I could not ask for more James, David and Michael together singing.
Anyone else been listening to this set of ‘golden pipes’ for nearly 50 years? My brother brought home the album Ambrosia in ‘75. I was blown away by Holdin’ on to Yesterday. What an amazing voice! I can’t believe those years of driving a ‘66 mustang 289 4-speed listening to home made cassette tapes taken from vinyl were almost a half a century ago. I’d go back in a heartbeat. Anyone else? No place like home. “Hey honey, have you seen those ruby slipper lying around anywhere?”
I'd go back in a heartbeat too. Great times and great music. Been a huge Ambrosia fan since the 70's when i was in high school. When i met my husband in '82, he had a '67 Camaro and we would drive around listening to music for hours. Seems like a lifetime ago.
You don't remember me, but we met years ago when you were backing Michael McDonald, and you came to the Marion Popcorn Festival. Me, my (then) wife and another couple were sneaked in backstage to watch. When Michael went to introduce "the band," and he came to you... he mentioned you were former lead in Ambrosia - and before he could say your name, I yeld out "David Pack!" You looked over at us and I thought we were busted. But you came off stage and after your post-performance cool-down, you came out and spent a few minutes with us. I remember you saying how Columbus, Ohio was a great tour stop for Ambrosia. You were gracious enough to take a picture with us. You even got a scrap piece of paper and had everyone sign it for me - even Michael. All these years later I still have it AND the picture. I love this song, and I wanted to Thank You for your kindness that night all those years ago.
It gives me chills everytime i hear the blending of three majestic voices. This masterpiece is worthy to be preserved and be served until the year 4000 and onwards.
I love this song in 70's slow rock jazz. I like James Ingram , David Pack and missed their voices together ❤. Thanks to David Pack for this beautiful song. I cant let you go ❤
I've always been a fan of both James Ingram and David Pack when he was with Ambrosia, and a huge fan of Michael McDonald as well. The way this song was written and executed is phenomenal. I still tear up when I hear these three voices in harmony. R.I.P. James Ingram, and Thank You.
This is a little eerie...I have just been listening to Ambrosia, over and over, today! I had no idea that David Pack! Thank you. I just heard that one of the members of the Association was connected somehow with Ambrosia. We are losing so many of our greatest......reasons to get to heaven!!
Three of the most beautiful voices ever. And during this difficult time, the tribute shows a tremendous respect for a fellow musician that has no color barrier. Just a love for a man, his character, and his music. I only hope this could be a bench mark for things to come. RIP Brother of soul!
David Pack, your voice is one of a kind. Just as Michael McDonald and James Ingraham. I grew up listening to you guys and how fortunate for us to experience true craftsmanship of this caliber. Each time I hear you sing, it hits me to my very soul. Thank you for all of the wonderful songs you have wrote over the years. May your friend James Ingraham rest in peace with the angels. Look forward to hearing your voice again with a new album. Blessings and Peace to you. 🎤🎶🎸
I’m one of your Millions of Fans and upon knowing you’re a Catholic it made me praise God more that we have artists like you who promote our faith God bless and Mama Pray for us.
I was a lead singer in bands back in the 70's and 80's. Almost everything we performed was with three part harmonies and it was a joy to feel that feeling when everyone was right in their parts. We never came close to sounding like you guys of course but the music that you David with Ambrosia and of course Michael McDonald with his solo career and with Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers inspired us to no end. I wasn't that familiar with James Ingram but I love this song and understan the kinship that you had with him was deep. Thank you for the music David Pack, You are an Icon with a one of a kind voice.
How moving... these are the three magnificent tenors that truly capture the musical gospel male trio sound. I am just now discovering this masterpiece, and I am blown away. Thank you David for sharing and honoring the memory of James. Along with you and Michael, your voices have been a blessing to me through the years. God's continued blessings on your lives.
Beautiful, David! If there were a million people singing, I would recognize your magnificent voice among them. Thank you so much for sharing your gift of music with us!
One of my favorite songs. David is great. Add in Michael McDonald and James Ingram and you get utter perfection! What a fantastic blending of three wonderful artists.
Hello David, I wanted to take this opportunity to speak on your wonderful, heartfelt video. It brought tears to my eyes and a hugh smile to my face. Absolutely beautiful! At the age of 18, I feel in love with you after first hearing the words to "That's How Much I Feel ". (Who didn't)? Something in your voice seemed to pull my heart from my chest, and I was lost to you and Ambrosia! Over the years I have had to replace my Anthology cd several times due to wear and tear. Now to see you have emerged again is pure delight! As a fan, I am so very happy that I am able to say my love for your lyrics, music, and voice lives on! Thank you for sharing your gift with us! Yes, the world needs more like you. P.S. The story, song, symphony of "Cowboy Star" is genius!!!!!
What a wonderful post..♥️..Biggest part of Me is one of my favorite songs..EVER..I get lost in it in the best possible way..lol..I'm glad you finally got to share your sentiments with someone..🙂♥️

I'm lost for words... this song is a part of me that I just can't let go.... David, Michael, James.... Thankkkkk youuuuuu for this beautiful song, this is forever!
I listen to ""I Just Can't Let Go" every week. The heartfelt lyrics and orchestration are so soulful and powerful. But it's the awesome harmonies by David Pack, Michael McDonald and James Ingram (who died too soon in Jan. 2019) that make this great song extra special! Thank you, David, for this beautiful tribute.
James Ingram is one of my all time favorite singers. He had such a great voice. The three of these guys singing together was a great collaboration. 3 of the best vocalists in the history of American mainstream music. Love it. Never gets old.❤️
I just love this song ... and these three amigos. What a blend. What a treat. If I don't ever get the chance to meet you David, I'll see you in heaven one day. From one Christian singer's heart to another. Blessings. :)o

Really love the song "I know you by heart", from the Beaches soundtrack, Bette Midler "featuring David Pack"... I got to see Ambrosia one time, around 2000, in a club I think in Palos Verdes, California.
This wonderful tribute takes me back to 1986 when I sent a letter (yep, handwriting, stamp, etc.) to David. How surprised I was several weeks later to receive a lovely typewritten reply. We communicated about our mutual affinity for James Ingram, Mike McDonald, et al. David, you remain a decent, loving gentleman and a dynamic artist. Our world needs more like you.
David you have a voice from our Almighty Jesus! You will be blessed from God forever and may God Bless your life in a special way! I am sorry about your wife’s passing, but truly you will see her in heaven along with James and friends! I will always pray for peace, love, joy and comfort for Year 2024! I hope to see you at a concert or somewhere in the future! God Bless You and your band! Rhonda

God Bless all of these singers and may James Ingram Rest In Peace! David Pack, beautiful work, I would love to meet you some day and pick your brain. My wife loves me singing with you on this! Missing James so much but I've been listening to you all since I was a little girl on the little island of Jamaica. I'd pretend I was there singing with you guys. Love Michael also you guys are great. Ambrosia meant so much to me as a child growing up. I cried because I'm in Ocala and I didn't know you guys performed a few months ago here. Hearing those voices together, is like a time capsule of all my music memories spanning the 8 decades I’ve lived in. This also brought back a memory of when I met Dave at a wedding reception. I think it was Laurel Canyon. I think Michael Omartian, Mark Frajilian Rachel Meclish, Greg Laurie were there. I was the sound guy so forgive me for not recalling who got married. Anyhow, Dave sang great as always.
That acapella harmony you added at the beginning gave me chills! You guys could have done the whole song acapella if you ask me. WOW!!! Loved the personal pictures and videos of you three, too.
God bless you David Pack for creating this masterpiece again, and again. James was certainly one of a kind and the three of you together have stirred the hearts of many lovers for generations. That beautiful church adds an incredible dimension to this video. Thank you for adding that in. We are blessed to light candles in these holy places for our loved ones in the faith. Blessings to you and to the whole world.

Still heartbroken with James demise. David pack's voice hasn't change a bit. This song, so great. I could not ask for more James, David and Michael together singing.
That is the closest to sounding like a full-blown Gospel choir that a male trio can ever muster.
David Pack has one of the best voices of any male singer I've heard in my over 60 years
Ditto that❤
Agreed 100%.
I agree

I've always known Ambrosia but never realized the amazing singing talent of David Pack till now. He is Amazing. What a golden voice.
If you haven't already, check out his duet with Ann Wilson (of Heart). "The Secret Of Moving On" is what re-hooked me on David's music.
