    My husband likes to keep our house at about the temperature of a meat locker! I'm glad to know the chill is at least helping me burn a little more calories! Thank you for the info!

      +Mirriah Beck This made us laugh, "meat locker" there's always a positive right? Have a great week, stay warm in the house.

    Thank you Lee and Dr. Dan! These tips are right on point for me, as I work to get past my "dad bod" and middle age spread... Dr. Dan could be describing my everyday as far as the environmental and work-related stressors, so this is hitting home for me. Thanks for the inspiration! Ima go take a lil nap before my workout

    I have been using a slightly different approach than drinking water with meals. I take 12 oz. of organic, decaf green tea with meals and sometimes in between meals.

      Great choice Ron, green tea has many health properties to it. All the best

      @Labrada  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi there Varsha, we would always recommend talking to you doctor first especially if you are taking any type of medications for diabetes. With that said we do have several products that could fit well into your daily regime. One of our best all natural wellness products is called Garcinia Cambogia, which has actually shown to possibly help with regulating blood sugar which is a diabetics nutritional goal. Here's a link to the product, hope you find it helpful, all the best. www.labrada.com/store/garcinia_cambogia.html

    hey Lee! do you think you could give us a breakdown of an athlete like Sage Northcutts diet?

    • @Labrada
      @Labrada  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Austin, a professional like Sage diet may change depending on his training and his goals. With that said here's some general rules of thumb we like to follow here at Labrada. We recommend around 1 gram of protein per ideal body pound per day. 1.5 - 2 grams of carbs per ideal body pound per day. Plus 20-30% of your total calorie intake coming from healthy fats.... Remember veggies are awesome so please try and consume at least 1 cup of veggies in all your meals, fruits can be used but do watch out, some fruit has a lot of sugar. These general guidelines believe it or not is very similar to what a fighter like Sage would follow. Hope this helps answer your question, all the best.

      +Labrada Nutrition thank you so much! so he follows the labrada plan you would say? I'm really trying to cut weight and lean out. would you recommend that diet even for cutting?

    • @Labrada
      @Labrada  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Austin this would be a good plan to start with... As noted above everyone is unique so finding your sweet spot is the ultimate goal. Wish you all the best with your fitness goals.

    What utter bunkum!!! To lose fat we need to exhale, that's the only way fat can leave the body, via the lungs. Next we need a caloric deficit, and we need to move more, it raises metabolism. But fat is carbon and it can only be breathed out.

    • @LadyAxe13

      Worst myth of them all. Eating less is the most ignorant and pointless rule applied to a plethora of individual metabolisms.
