    I got the A8 kinda wish I had gone with the A6 but since the A8 is more popular there are more printable upgrades online for it. The a6 jogwheel would just be so much easier to use.

  • @KarlMarklund
    @KarlMarklund 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    @RCLifeOn - Does the A6 have an upgraded MOSFET compared to the A8? I have seen a lot of recommendations for upgrading that part with an aftermarket part from Ebay. Have you experienced any trouble with the power supply? Vill inte att hemmet ska brinna upp :)

    Good video man, but I would like to ask you: which 3D printer would you recommend me? I don't have any idea about 3D printing and I'm afraid if I have any problem with it (maintenance problem, calibrating problem) or something that I won't be able to resolve and I wouldn't like having a printer just for decorating my room. So, which 3D printer would you recommend me? And what tips can you give me?
    Thanks a lot

    • @RcLifeOn

      I recommend the Anet A6/A8. Both of them are great printers, and easy to assemble. If you have any problems with the printer, contact me at rclifeon2014@gmail.com
      I will most likely answer within a couple of hours. We could even Skype if you wish.

    To manke it easier to remove the paper from the accrylic without it tearing all the time run each piece under some warm water until all the paper has gotten wet, the paper will peal right off without leaving any adhesive residue, and with minimal tearing. I even left the smaller pieces of my A8 kit submurged in a cup of water until needed and the paper still came off in one piece with no issue. This should work with any other paper covered accrylic pieces for other kits, or anything else.

    Can the A8 and A6 print other filaments with a 3D3 V6 hotend ? I want to print NinjaFlex and Nylon. I also want to print in 0.4mm and 0.1mm for precision.

    • @witgangyounotube287
      @witgangyounotube287 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      i think the stepper motors are just barely enough to push filament at 0.4 and would probably work for ninjaflex if you print one of those filament guide thing that sits under the drive gear , would also help with PLA to have one of those since it makes loading filament a lot easier.

    • @RcLifeOn
      @RcLifeOn  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! A video comparing the two printers (Anet A6 vs A8) will be uploaded quite soon. A6 was easier to assemble, but doesn't support as many materials as the A8. A6 also supports 0.4 layer thickness which is great if you want to print something very quickly. A6 print at faster speed (A6 = 120mm/s A8 = 100mm/s). In conclusion, I think the Anet A6 is better as long as you don't want to print with anything else than PLA and ABS.

    Do you like this printer better than your Anet A8 ?

    • @RcLifeOn
      @RcLifeOn  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I do. The assembly was easier for sure, and it prints 0.4 layer height which is great because it means I will be able to print things a lot quicker! Though the Anet A8 is able to print with more materials, but this is no problem for me as I only print with PLA.
      Regarding the auto leveling, it uses the exact same motherboard as the Anet A8 so I believe it is possible.
