Be aware that the galaxy watch FE is a smart watch 4 in a new jacket. The hardware comes from that model. I think it's a little bit overpriced in that case.

I have the old samsung galaxy watch that has the rotating bezel. I've been thinking of getting a new watch because the battery on this one isn't working very well and the OS doesn't support newer apps, however I really really like the physical touch feedback of rotating the bezel rather than just swiping the screen. It's quite unfortunate they stopped adding that feature to their watches. I think it really distinguished them from the competition but what do I know...
What a calm and straight to the point review 😩 I was looking into watches and other health devices for a while now, today I went shopping and got tangled up in front of the watches, I tested some and wasn't sure, when I saw this watch, the price and the pretty colour pink 🩷 had me convinced that I need THAT one. After using and testing it for an afternoon I fell in love with it, tracking my heart rate during workouts and in general has taken a huge boulder off of my shoulders. Seeing its insane (to me) accuracy during your tests, I'm definitely gonna keep it until it falls apart. I really feel like a small heart condition plagued girl with lots of health anxiety has struck gold with this watch 🥰
What about fall detection? Will it call emergency services if you are unconscious and emergency contacts? Does it need to be near my phone for this to work?

I picked one of these up after watching your review. I use it primarily for the Health Connect features. I also use a CPAP and like how the data from the watch synchs not only with the Health Connect functionality but also is able to synch with my Resmed 'myAir" application.

Is it possible to use accessories from other galaxy watches, or is that fabric band for the fe model? Have you experienced any type of lagging on the watch? What's your final rate for it?
I’m glad you liked my review 😊 I am planning to compare accuracy across wearables, but it does take time to collect and analyze data, so stay tuned… The fabric band works with the 4, 5, and 6 watches as well. I have experienced a little lag at times. I personally need more than 1 week of use to give a final rating 😊
Hello, It has 16go of memory. Is it possible to put some MP3 on it and listen to them with a BT headset (without a smartphone) ? And if you plug the usb cable to a pc can you transfer these MP3 files with ease ? (like a USB key / a mass storage)
Anything that requires the Samsung Health Monitor app is not technically compatible (e.g. ECG, blood pressure, sleep apnea detection-if they are available in your region). There are a few other small things that others have noted, but unfortunately, Samsung doesn’t make it clear what the exact feature difference is.

It was never stated if the reasons some of the features were disabled for "proprietary" reasons, or otherwise (like keeping their customers in their ecosystem). I give Samsung credit for keeping enough of the features available for all android devices across the spectrum.
Great review, may I ask if I can receive and answer calls if I'm outside the Bluetooth range but both the phone and the watch are under the same Wi-Fi, even if the phone is an Android but not a Samsung?
No watch I have worn is satisfactorily accurate in tracking my sleep. Accuracy to me is knowing when I fell asleep, woke up in the middle of the night, and woke up in the morning. I personally sometimes take over an hour to fall asleep initially or after waking in the middle of the night, and most of the time my watch cannot distinguish between me lying still but being awake vs me being asleep. If you fall asleep within minutes of laying down, never wake up during the night for a significant amount of time, and always get out of bed as soon as you wake up, the sleep times and amounts should be accurate. I cannot comment on sleep stages accuracy as I don’t have a way to test that.

Only if you have the lte 4g version and not the bluetooth one. The bluetooth ones music only work when connected to the internet, the LTE 4G works independently.
Heyy I'm a heart patient my doctor adviced me to wear a watch that keeps tracks of my heart rate so does this watch have a function to beep when heart rate is abnormal???
You're obviously doing something different with your watch than I am. The Galaxy watch FE battery sucks. I've got cheap watches out of Temu with a better battery life

Only if you have the lte 4g version and not the bluetooth one. The bluetooth ones music only work when connected to the internet, the LTE 4G works independently.
