I received my Ultra 7 yesterday and it looks even better in person than on the reviews. I chose the titanium color with the black band and it is truly a really nice looking watch. I have a small wrist and for its size it still fits perfectly. Setting it up was a breeze, but it was just for the basic functions. Your videos are always extremely informative and enjoyable. I save your videos for future reference. As always well done.
I was just about to get the watch, but I saw they aren't allowing the app Facer. For those who don't know... Facer is a big game changer with the watches, allowing you to change the faces to great themes. I paid for the year & I like changing my faces to match my attire. I might not get it.. not like the watch5 pro is much of a difference. Great video. Loved the breakdown.

I have been rocking the active 2 for almost 5 years, and it finally died Saturday. So, I decided to pull the trigger yesterday on the Ultra. Hopefully, I love it. It will be here on Wednesday

Hello. Great video! I just got the Watch 7. All of the faces that I've used from the watch, display all temps in Celsius. I want them in Fahrenheit. My weather apps are set to Fahrenheit. How can I get the temps to display Fahrenheit? This was never a problem when using Facer because I set everything to imperial. Sadly, Facer is not compatible with the Watch 7, at least for now.
I watched another video that stated the watch 7 and the ultra are the same watch. Except of screen size, case size, and buttons. The main specs are exactly the same, so why pay that much more for the same watch? I bought the Watch 7. Which ones are for the Watch 7 and which ones are for just the Ultra? Hey sakitech I have a question for you and the other TH-camrs who follow you. How come none of you have yet tested the Samsung galaxy watch 7 ultra under water to see how the touch screen works, I think it would be an excellent indicator of the watch itself if it works and if it justifies the price of 700 euros in Europe because I'm not sure what the price is at your place in the USA.
Im hoping theres a digital coming as well😂 i can tell analog just fine but im slower. I added a digital to the analog tho. It made it tolerable to me. I wanna move the spot its in tho..
590 mah, 2 to 2.5 days with health features off. The quick button would be better with triple press. Supcase provides a good protective watchband for this watch.

It can also be added to to double-press of the home button. - Missing is the calibration of the compass. - Many regions do not have Blood Pressure monitoring installed. That can be side-loaded.
Next do an extreme battery optimization and show people how to get 5 days of use out of it for those that find all these health features nothing but pure gimmicks. Optimize it just like people did with the watch5 pro as it also got 5 days of battery used too. Just because it's a sports watch doesn't mean you have to use it like a sports watch.

One thing I'm curious about (sorry, it's off topic), I have the black with orange band Ultra and I want to color/stain the Orange spots around the dial to a black color so I can change bands and watch faces and not be stuck with Orange as a theme. Does anyone have a recommendation on what to use to change the color of those little markings? By the way, I love your posts.
Could always add a watch cover protector. Will add some bulk depending on which one you get, but it protects it. And they have different colors. Then if you want to go back to the original look, just take it off
Make a back up in your watch 6. Than open the 7 for installation. In the following steps they ask if you want to set up as a new watch or from the backup using Smart Switch.if you do that the back up in your watch 6 is on youre watch 7

💯No one should be putting this watch on POWER SAVING mode to get better battery life. The entire idea of this watch being bigger is for better battery capacity ... it would defeat the purpose .. also, when doing that mode for a phone or in this case, it's almost like crippling the device by limiting its functions . ‼️
Nevermind the battery life. I have the watch ultra and the watch 7 44mm. I use the ultra for de day, and use the 7 44mm for sleep tracking. So i have 365 days a years of battery life.

That's what I tracking as well however I am doing a lot of training on it right now. I want to check it once I stop doing all of the testing of futures & functions. Just normal usage.

@jamesm568 thankyou I was a little confused why have WiFi if you turn it off. This is my first smartwatch. Also didn't know that most networks in UK don't support lte 4g. It been a bit of a learning curve.
Top Gun Watch face created issues with my action button. I had my action button set to elliptical workout. When I installed this face and set a complication to samsung health, my action button no longer worked. If I set the action button to flashlight, it worked fine. But once I went back to samsung health, it no longer worked. I removed the complication but the action button still did not work. Uninstalled the watch face and that did not work. Had to reset and restore then everything worked fine. But as soon as I added the elliptical complication, I had the same problems with the action button getting stuck and not working if it was set to samsung health. Hopefully this is an easy fix for the developers.
I mean with my watch 5 pro i can go 3 days without charging and thats doing nothing with it except looking at notifcations and wearing it to bed to track my heart rate and blood oxygen so to keep things short and sweet samsung says 4 days but thats if you do absolutely nothing with it
You should be able to get 5 days out of the watch5 pro. Did you neutered Bixby and go into your permissions and remove permissions for apps that you never used? If you're using your watch for notifications and weather you don't need GPS and you need to be in power saving mode. You also don't need the always-on display either.
Anyone here know why I can't set up Google assistant on my watch? Can it be because my language? My watch and phone is set to Norwegian. I can use the assistant on my phone, but it's impossible on my watch. Doesn't even show up when searching for it in the play store.
@kristimckinney1072 I found the solution. You open the Google play store on the watch. Then scroll all the way down. It will say something like manage apps (above settings) click there and you will find it and activate/install it.
When you started the video on your phone it was 3:33 and the watch said 4 days of battery, At the end of your video 5:30pm it says 2 days 16 hours with 8% less than the initial battery, how is that possible? I have been using the ultra for 3 days and it barely gives me 24 hours with all the sensors activated except the screen always on, Now the question is, why do I want a watch that offers me so much but limits me with its battery not to mention that it lasts much longer than the Apple watch Ultra 2 without being charged to 100%? Disappointed in Samsung smh, I think I'll return this watch, I'll stick with my Apple ultra 2
4 Days is totally achievable. Just depends on how much functionality you are willing to sacrifice on your $650 watch. I have it set up just the way I had on my GW5Pro : Airplane Mode On AOD Off TiltTW Off TouchTW On Location Off Wifi Off NFC Off Workout Detection Off Heart rate Manual Stress Manual Sleep Tracking On Snore Tracking, O2 Level Off Skin Temp Off Setup a bedtime schedule Bixby Don't activate Google Assistant Disable I go to the gym 5 days a week with tracking on an hour at a time. Including a 2 mile walking route with GPS turned on. I measure my O2 after ever workout. I measure my BMI twice a day. That's just me though. And no, I didn't gimp my expensive watch. I have it set up to what I need and took away things that I don't need or I think is a gimmick. If I need something... I'll just turn it on, takes a few taps. I just got though a long weekend without a charger. I was nervous because I forgot my charger and no longer have safety net with the reverse phone charger. Came through like a titanium clad champ!
After a month with this watch, i am calling it the galaxy watch 7 plus. It is not an ultra watch. If you use this for everything it was designed for, you will get about a wotk day. Taking calls, training, gps tracking, checking messages on the go, and using samsung pay. As well as listening to music, you are definitely getting maybe 6 to 7 hours. Imagine paying for a bigger battery, and all everyone is sharing is how to turn off things and saving battery?

The update is coming, the faces saved on my watch 6 classic transferred over to the watch ultra so I am good for now.

Why does no reviewer ever mention whether they have LTE enabled while using the watch. To many inconsistencies in regards to battery life.

4 days of battery? My dude , you're NOT using your watch AT ALL. It's around 25 to 30 hours MAX with regular use / no power saving !

The only time I have Wi-Fi on the watch is when it's on the charger so it can update itself.

@@martinstockbridge3449 Wi-Fi and LTE are battery hogs so if there's not a need for them when you can use Bluetooth let your phone do all the work.
Now I just hope that they fix the Facer problem.

I don’t have Assistant as an option for Home Button. Only Bixby and Power Off 😢
I don't believe anyone does. I'd guess he is running early release firmware.
You will need to update and officially setup google assistant. It should then appear as an option.

I'll just turn it on, takes a few taps. I just got though a long weekend without a charger. I was nervous because I forgot my charger and no longer have safety net with the reverse phone charger. Came through like a titanium clad champ!

After a month with this watch, i am calling it the galaxy watch 7 plus. It is not an ultra watch. If you use this for everything it was designed for, you will get about a wotk day. Taking calls, training, gps tracking, checking messages on the go, and using samsung pay. As well as listening to music, you are definitely getting maybe 6 to 7 hours. Imagine paying for a bigger battery, and all everyone is sharing is how to turn off things and saving battery?
It doesn't have a depth gauge so how can you call it an Apple-style
