My apologies if the content of this video comes across as abrupt and harsh towards a particular individual, which I realize is a bit overdue. Thing is, I started working on this video right after I finished my previous one and had it about 80% done by mid-August last year. But then I got busy and unmotivated, so I left it unfinished. Given that there will be an update later this year, and a tiny chance that said update will render the content of this video obsolete, I rushed to finish the video so my labor wouldn't be wasted. ...Wait. By posting this video I may have brought about the very nerf I was afraid of. Oh well.
Don't see how and why they could possibly patch it, it sits on the edge between legit strat and cheese. This will stay in the game unless they give DG player-like i-frames, cap how many projectiles can hit it at once or the nerf the nebula arcanum.
Why would it be nerfed? I dont see a point cuz if you made a setup for it then why not use it besides if you already have thoose wepon stats then i think you should deserve the win amyways
Erm actually, water isn't wet. You see, wetness is defined by scientists as "liquid's ability to maintain contact with a solid surface" Thus water can't be wet since it's a liquid substance, not a solid, which is why water can't technically make itself wet and only makes solid objects wet. - 🤓 (I'm right you're wrong.)

@@electric_ajaxwhen making the choice on which one to craft, it's hard to not base it on how good it is versus moon lord. arcanum is also amazing at killing pillars, but how often do you really do that
A couple of days ago I checked the channel and thought you were done with TH-cam, considering it's been nearly a year since last upload, but you were simply breaking the game again
Despite the fact that Terraria is capable of doing almost everything both "chilled" and "hypersweating", I find it more entertaining just to see people design literally anything (or everything) to do stuff few think of doing. My first time dungeon guardian fight was just a simple HOIK machine in 2016 right outside the dungeon's front door, while using an enchanted boomerang, and now people (Mappy more beautifully) go and make space-manipulating teleporter warpers using a small HOIK box to spam pocket nebulas into them easily. This is why I love Terraria: complicated in such a simple way, and I wouldn't have it as anything else. 🥰
I find it funny that people complain about how hard it is to replicate these designs in a "normal" setting. It's actually really easy to make a simpler (albeit less effective) version of these farms.
This stupid little thing shreds, and I mean SHREDS, anything that it hits. Especially multiple of them with its homing ability. Honestly, I've never seen moonlord get torn apart so fast when I decided to use this in a mage playthrough
Arcanum can also stack projectiles pretty easily on its own with minimal setup. The low lifetime of the shots makes its max damage cap lower than something infinitely stackable, like rainbow rod, but it's still enough to pretty consistently instakill some later bosses, like Duke Fishron. It's fun for Moonlord, because if you stack enough just right, you can pretty much nuke their forehead eye in one cycle. Arcanum cope ftw
fargo's souls really made me know how busted arcanum is under the right conditions. Over 10k dps during the magic phase with a multiclass build because the boss moves slower.
fun fact: the connection between salt and high blood pressure has been called into question, lately. so you probably have nothing to worry about, be as salty as you want!

Honestly there's this general trend of the better pillar weapon being less popular (Overall better, not necessarily stronger) Nebula Arcanum, Phantasm, Solar Flare The only outlier being Summoner, which is an outlier in general for the game
if you break one of the blocks on one of the sides that hold the black hole does it escape? if it doesnt, then breaking one block from the low side would make the projectiles go out and hit the guardian and make a bit faster... IF it doesnt mess up with i-frames
Let's be honest, if you are trying to killing the dungeon guardian no matter what method you use, you are still sweating, because the dungeon guardian isn't really meant to be killed lol, so there is no "non-sweaty" method which is funny
The latest character accelerator video had me thinking about world downloading off steam workshop and I began to wonder, is it possible to create a world with the purpose of 100% completing every achievement on a fresh character without pushing a single button? The hoik won't work if the spacing isn't right, and even if I copy this working version (the one which took too much fall dmg) and just lower the height accordingly, it won't give me fall dmg. I'm so frustrated about it. I'll be using your trick instead. The good thing is I playing mage class rn. And I'm that type of player, the one who only strictly use one class at a time/world/run. And me currently trying to get every pets in the game. Yes it would require me to skip it in pre-hardmode, but I'm just so done with it. Any ways is better.
Pretty sure the fastest way was in 1.2, where if you equipped frost armor and had the duke fishron flail you could kill the dungeon gaurdian in around 3 minutes. (Commenting this before I watch the video btw)
The idea of trying to scientifically define "non sweat tactics" is really funny to me, lol. Out of curiosity, does spectre armor increase this damage at all? Or do the extra orbs have peirce issues that negate their benefit over a max crit set up?
Having Spectre armor set limits the max possible crit chance to 95, but the difference is almost negligible. So it does increase DPS, albeit not by much. 10-16 at most? The whole point of 6:33 was to show that the Arcanum alone could deal more than the Phantasm-Holy Arrow combo, so it's just that I didn't want the extra white orbs to fly around.
