Was the Hilotherm worth it? I’m having my surgery in a few weeks and wasn’t expecting the Hilotherm machine to be so expensive to hire 😳

You’re welcome! For me, I was certain that I was going to save money and not need Hilotherm (thought the Amazon ice wrap would be sufficient) but I was so swollen that I thought it wouldn’t hurt to try, especially when I’m fortunate enough to afford it if I’d really like, and after getting it I was super relieved I did. It was definitely worth it for me. Xx
hi!! I was wondering, did you get this surgery on the NHS or did you have to pay privately? I failed dental treatment before so I'm looking into this surgery for the future :)
Hi, I was very fortunate to get it on the NHS as I was referred for jaw surgery in 2015 (aged 13)

Im getting my lower jaw surgery done in a few weeks, be honest how long did being unconcious under anaestisia feel? I know it might be an impossible question to answer but im curious
Hey. Uploading a video on my hospital experience next week but honestly I have nothing bad to say about being put to sleep. Happened so quickly, some say you dream about the last thing you think about but I didn’t dream about anything. When I came around, I didn’t even think the operation has been done yet! Good luck😌

Hi, I just wanted to ask what books would you recommend for first-year pharmacy students, and are there any particular topics that are hard if so which ones? Would appreciate any help. Also, get well soon!
Hey ty! I can’t think of any books from the top of my head, and I didn’t use any first year (or second really) oops!! Personally I found the stereochemistry topics quite hard, but generally it was more of a struggle with the amount of content needed to know. Hope this helps :)
@@AmyChenYT Thank you, I just wanted a general idea. One other thing I wanted to ask was what revision technique(s) did you find most effective when revising for a test?
Honestly the worst person to ask, somehow got through first year without doing the bare minimum and then second year by cramming last min. Need to get on top of it this year! I know quizlet and flash cards work for a lot of people, doesn’t for me tho so you’re going to have to experiment :/

My treatment done agust 10th and it's 4th week is going on
But my surgeon told me 2 months you should eat any food but only in liquid state with syringe😭...
Very critical to me😒..
But I didn't get pain at all
Some of uncomfort that's it
My face swelling is also normal
Little bit is there😊
Hey, glad to hear you’re doing well. Swelling now is much better and expected. I was advised on a liquid diet for minimum of 4 weeks so I’ve not been great with that! Not being able to eat normally sucks doesn’t it! But it’ll be worth it in the end🙏🏽😌
@@AmyChenYT yes but 2 months liquids means it's difficult ..😒my stomach is going down and down🤭...
Now I had realized,, God was testing me
In my past I wasted so much of food 😒
Now I front of me so much of food😟and i had money but still🥲my mouth is with stiches😔
