      Hi Will, do you have an ipad app for making estimates or invoices for creatives?

      Great video man. I’ve got the Universal License for Affinity V2 suite of apps. It was an instant purchase, and works wonders for me. I’m not a professional, but I can easily see how its versatility could lend itself to pros.
      I use it mainly on my MBP 14” M3 Pro, with some use on iPad mini (the UI is still great on the mini, so it’s still quite usable, at least for me!)
      The great thing about the universal license is that it instantly gives me access to all desktop apps (both Mac and windows if needed) as well as all iPad apps. This more than justifies the pricing for me. And one-off for great apps? It’s clear to see why they’re winning, especially recently, but over the long arc of time as well.
      I’ve always used Serif products, and I’m as excited about Affinity products today to when they first announced the affinity suite.
      One killer feature for me, on the Mac (might be iPad too, but I’ve not tried) is, using Publisher, there is a toggle at the top to use any of the tools for Designer and Photo, alongside Publisher. This is incredible, it’s all in one “studio” as it were. I can make photo touch-ups on the fly to elements, then switch to vector elements seamlessly.
      I cannot sing their praises enough!
      As I’m a long term customers invested in Serif products, I have every faith they will continue to do great things, even under the banner of Canva.

    I always love my Affinity Designer and it changed my way of doing my work. I've been using Affinity Designer on my iPad Pro 4th Gen, the thing is that I don't see a lot of tutorials about it and that's the only downside for me as someone who's learning on my own having no one to ask to if I have troubles. Anyone if you have a solid course or a youtuber whatever that teaches Affinity Designer on iPad, please help me out. Thank you and God Bless.

    I love that you are partnering with Affinity. As someone that has to keep Adobe due to certain things Affinity just does not it be so helpfulif at some point you could do a compare with say designer and illustrator. The thing I love about Affinity is the integration more than anything and it really is buttery smooth there’s just certain things that just can’t do but I think somebody of your level could probably show work around versus illustrator and publisher. I mean, I noticed in going to Adobe Max this year Adobe I think is getting the message because there are a lot of things they’re doing that are really making it work better and some practical new tools and I’m not talking about the AI stuff. I’m just talking about the Design stuff but I really do like we affinities go, and I just think that there’s certain things they need to make available versus just trying to be different.

    First let me say I love that your mic is orange lol. It’s a nice pop of color!
    Idk why I stopped using Affinity but watching this makes me want to relearn. That and Procreate make the iPad worth it for a design tool. Are you using the Sidecar feature with your Studio Display?

    Recently I have got an IPad Pro 11. One thing that made me upset is the paid subscription of every good apps that I wanted to upload first. Can you make a video of free graphic design apps?

    • @sloppynyuszi
      @sloppynyuszi 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      What do you have against paying people for creating things for you to use? I get the frustration with subscriptions. Constantly paying for something that either doesn’t need much improving or for something you want to use just not every month.
      But what’s wrong with one off payments? Procreate is a great app, only have to pay for it once. Affinity designer he is talking about is a great app and great value.
      As for free stuff, the compromises are always too much, but if you of the idea that people who create software should work for passion only and not get money, stick to windows or Linux devices as there are plenty of open source software for that.

    Do you still use Vectornator/Curve? I had to move away from it even thought that’s what helped me learn to draw with vectors. Once it became 14.99 a month I had to switch to Procreate which is raster based but 12.99 once. Love the channel!
