I'm an interaction designer using Affinity Suite instead of Adobe Creative Cloud. Also learning open-source tools such as GIMP, Inkscape, Krita, Blender etc through Udemy. I plan to stick with Windows and Linux.
You really inspired me to start and become a graphic designer in my 78, do you think will I be able to learn 😊? I really like your presentation and your simple way of explanation. Well done, Ania!

Thanks for the tips (& inspiration!). Been wanting to start my freelance graphic design journey but have been OVERWHELMED by all the options and need to market myself... After watching your video I really feel like I can do it. Thanks for sharing 🥰
I started a year ago on my self-taught graphic design journey And it's being kind of stressful Cause learning the Adobe pograms and because of time Cause have a job that doesn't have anything to do with graphic design and sometimes I find my self procrastinating but I'm not giving up yet
Thank you for sharing this information! I wish you all the best! Many people power hoard or gatekeep in this industry and it's refreshing to see someone be so helpful and transparent!
Am a software Dev and Honestly, I've just lost passion for it. Being Looking into a switch to Graphic Design and Well this Helps a lot. Thanks, and God Bless.

The most valuable video in terms of suggestions that i’ve seen so far, regarden this topic. To the point that even advertisement was helpful, thank you a lot.
Subbed! Although i've been a freelance WFH, web and graphic designer for 22 yrs now, I still find your video helpful. We almost have the same setup except that I have a mac mini. i'm looking into getting a laptop as well just so I can work anywhere :) Great content! thank you!
I am studying graphic design as a major in university I am still in my first year even though I didn’t want to to study graphic design design because my gpa didn’t allow me to go to med school so I Chose graphic design design because it was the best choice I had but now I started falling in love with my graphic design major so I am just researching my major chronically and I stumbled on this video
Idk why this gatekeeping culture even got started. You see it everywhere in the art or gaming community too. Like you were at one point a newbie too yknow.
concise and to the point! super helpful to hear your guidance. Could you also make a video on notion and how you keep everything organized? (I suck with organizing work)
I’m currently a graphic design student in college, and i’m trying to build my portfolio. What sources do you recommend for building a professional portfolio/website?
Hiiiii, i loved your video ❤❤❤ you gave such good tips. A tip for you, would be, when you put texts on the video, they arent that visible, you could put some background on it, like a blurry type one. I hope you take it well. I loved your work 💋
Superb video! As a graphoic designer and artist I still learned a lot of things; btw do you have a video where you talk about your education in graphic design? Could you make a video about websites like gumroad, etc?
Hello!! I'm pretty sure I have the lowest storage possible; I really don't store much on my iPad other than a few apps :) and about the pencil, nope! I'm super happy with what I have now.
Laptop :) Unless you are interested in illustrative/drawing work, then iPad would be suitable. But for graphic design, definitely the laptop (or any computer)
I haven't personally tried affinity, because I have been using adobe for years. I don't think I am looking to learn a new program at this stage. xTiles, love it! See my latest video :)

Hi! just wanted to ask. Is your Macbook Air the one with M1 chip? and how much RAM and SSD is that? Planning to get one to do mainly my graphic designing and will it be worth it even if I dont have an ipad?
M1 chip and 8-core GPU and I thiiiink 16gb RAM not sure, also you definitely don't need an ipad! You can 100% create amazing designs with your laptop alone, it's just a preference of mine because I like to illustrate sometimes :)
@@aniadsgn sorry to ask again (just a little lost bc i dont wanna risk spending a lot on unnecessary expensive laptops😭) but do u think the 8GB RAM with 512GB ssd of the same model will be able to handle graphic deisgns tho🥹
You missed a point while talking about the GPU. You must have a CPU that's compatible with the GPU, It's nice to make thing looks pretty but your computer need to do the calculation too and another one is most of graphic design software ask for 16GB RAM minimum or after 10 layers u'll start having little issues
Can feel your soul leaving your body when talking about that Adobe subscription.
🤣 was it that obvious... clearly not having the monthly fee, but it's a must for me!
I surely felt it, I think photo pea is really good though
@jeetisquadreactions Photopea is a really good alternative to Photoshop but what about alternatives to Indesign?
