She was obviously very bad at responding to very reasonable questions being directed at her party so ALBO tried to deflect again (badly as usual). Actually she failed to answer any questions rationally ... instead she became angry and defensive ... classic signs or a liar under pressure. Every time the pro lobbyists open their mouths the more obvious it is that THIS VOICE IS A REALLY BAD AND DEVISIVE ATTEMPT AT CREATING APARTHEID IN AUSTRALIA. It is almost like we are being asked to vote in a Referendum to suspend democracy. Didn't this happen just before WWII in Germany? The model being voted on is ill defined, vesting power to a minority. We know it is not a preamble (as we have not been asked to vote for that). Why is it being put in the Constitution? Because It would be harder to remove or change compared to legislation. We are being asked to vote for this vague (to us) model; there is a reason it is being poorly defined...

    As a pom this is one battle I really hope Australia wins, the Ashes {maybe less so} whoever won it was a great game to watch, so you won that test Australia, win the 'Voice' test too, for all Australians. A yes would lead to dividing people. Knock it out of the park !

    EVERY Aboriginal has the same right as white Australians to vote at every election. Do they actually vote? If not, why not! Why is Labor spending all this money for the voice when Aboriginals have the same right to voice their opinions at election time. Labor seems to love wasting taxpayers money, simply as that. They have no clew what they're talking about.

    • @raymarsh5455

      Australians came from the lowest social classes, historically. Their old ancestors were bred like sheep - any who did not accept their peasant / menial-working-class status were taken out of the gene pool. Australians need an overlord. They are incompetent at ruling. It is not in their blood. The UN, USA, England, China, and the Aboriginals are currently the ruling class.

    • @yvonnecaldwell6088
      @yvonnecaldwell6088 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's bullshit, is what it is...pollies shooting Australia in the foot? More like lining the non-indigenous up against a wall!!!!
      It's all about a voice to Parliament (although they are well represented and even the indigenous in Parliament are saying that), rights, land ownership, paying 'rent', some things have already come into force, even before we've voted.
      WA (Western Australia) now has some 'cultural heritage' shite just been whacked on it being, if you own land over 1100sqm, you have to get permission and consultation to plant a tree, put a fence post in, erect a fence, put up a shed, etc, from some indigenous council or another. Anything that will disturb soil 50cm down (that's about 18 inches). It impacts farmers in particular and WA has huge farming properties in a huge State (approx 1/3 land size). Housing blocks, over time, have reduced in size but there are still older blocks around that are this size or larger. No wonder our Premier, Mark McGowan did the big bolt, blaming it all on exhaustion🤔🤔😠
      Next is they want 'rent' payable for land. So, whether you own your property, want to get married, use land for whatever, you pay rent. Eg: you get married and your wedding is $50k...1%, or something like that (details haven't been finalised, or even explained to us properly), will go to the indigenous for using 'their land', this is on-top of paying for the venue and not counting the venue also being charged yearly 'rent'.
      Property/business owners will pay a yearly 'rent' to the indigenous for building on 'their' land, land you've already bought and paid for.
      This is on top of all the opportunities given to them, not mentioning the $35+ BILLION per year spent on Aboriginal 'affairs'.
      This is just the start, the tip of the iceberg.....watch this space.
      There are a lot of people angry here😠😠
      You can't say anything because the good old race card is then played. We've even been called racist by our PM, if we vote 'no'!!!!!!!
      So yeah, it's a 'no' from me and as far as I can tell, most Australians, including a lot of indigenous.
      Very unpredictable times over here😒😒
