We are blessed to have Scott Hahn in our midst in these days. This is exactly what we always need to make things relevant in the times we live. However, many will never hear this because they continue to turn away from God. These are the tears I shed when I pray the rosary, for the souls who choose not to listen, and that the infinite mercy of God through his son Jesus will return those souls.

Which church controls God? The Baptist Church? The Roman Catholic Church? One of the other many divisions of the Catholic Church? Hmmm? Doesn't it always boil down to the same thing - people want to control and direct God, be honest that's what it boils down to. It's human nature whether Roman Catholic or Methodist or Baptist or a non-denominational (neither Catholic or Protestant church) Bible believing church.
When a person prays are they directing God or asking God? I notice the Catholic church, the organization controlled by sinful and flawed people want to really control other people just like the leadership of the Jews when Jesus walked the earth as a human being. The more things change the more they stay the same. People are human whether they were alive 4,000 years ago or now. MY church is the true church! No one controls God, no organization controls God, no priest controls God, no Pope controls God. We should be humble human beings and be glad we have the Word of God to guide us.
The truth is that people want to be in control. They want an earthly King to rule over them. Nothing has changed in thousands of years. It will change, I'm guessing in the next 10 years or so. The handwriting is on the wall. The final tribulation period or final seven year period approaches very quickly.
God is not a respecter of people whether it is the Pope or the plain street sweeper or a Roman soldier 2000 years ago or a fisherman.
The only thing that is truly Holy is God. People are not. Churches are not. I don't have anything against the Roman Catholic Church per se. There are doctrines that I think smack of human doctrine like any good sized church in the world. They are all flawed as we are.
Personally the true church, the true members of Jesus' church are those written in God's book of life that no one can snatch from Him. None of us can open up or look at that book. We will all know in the end but that's God's decision.
All this to say we should be very humble. Only by the Grace of God go any of us. We should always keep that in mind. Jesus Christ was a Jew in the line of David. A very sinful line of human beings which makes sense because there are none that are righteous, no not one, although there are a few people out of 10's of billions that have lived on this earth that God counted as righteous, even though they were not. That's God decision.
When Christ walked the earth he lived as a human even though he was the Word of God in the flesh. A perfect man, the only righteous man to ever walk this earth. What would He say if someone thought that only their church was the one true church?
I know I'm a sinner and what I deserve even though I may not be as bad as the next guy, at least in a worldly sense. Not a murderer or a priest that molested children but still a sinner that doesn't deserve eternal life, just like every other human being that ever walked this earth. If I ever have any questions there are really and ultimately two places to go to check on anything - the Bible which is all we have to go by in a worldly sense because that is what God gave us and prayer. We can always pray for help and guidance.
The Jews thought about their institutions and still do many of them, as the Roman Catholics seem to. All I'm saying is be Humble and realize that it is God's decision who he counts as righteous in the end, not the Pope of the Catholic Church or a priest or Billy Graham or anyone else.
I notice in the Bible, as powerful as they are and far more powerful than a human, the Angels would never allow a man to bow down to them or worship them in any way. Neither should we worship any man no matter his position or any church per se. The only Holy church is the church of true believers that worships God in spirit and in truth. I've never met a person that does that, at least not all the time. He sacrificed Himself for us and raised Himself from the Dead 2000 years ago that we may live.
We should all be very humble. None of us deserve life but only by the Grace of God. That is our only hope. A membership card in any church is not the ticket that will get anyone into heaven. Even so, I don't have any problem with someone being a member of the Catholic Church. My best friend is Catholic. But I also don't have a problem with anyone being a member of the Catholic Church any more than I have a problem with anyone being a member of any Bible believing church.
I'm not really directing this towards you in particular. I just see so many ideas expressed that often seem to be more Catholic than Christian and in the end it is the belief in Christ that matters far more than the belief in any particular church. I'm just saying that I think we need to put our faith in Christ first and everything else second. Easy to say and darn near impossible to do.

Mary McReynolds The rapture is a fiction along with the virgin birth and "original sin". That´s my favourite, everybody is supposed to be born in sin because of something that supposedly happened thousands of years ago. There is no "end of the world". Honestly I simply can´t believe that grow up adults are watching this and thinking that there is anything normal about it. Maybe if I was six years old and believed in the Tooth Fairy I might swallow it. The world will end billions of years from now when our sun burns out. No time soon. Anybody who thinks that the world is going to end needs to get professional help.

"You will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of Heaven...."
    Original Greek translation:
"You will perceive Jesus from a heavenly perspective!"
In other words: who He is, what He did and who you are IN Him!
What lots of people (even pastors) don't (yet) understand.
God created us according to His own image and likeness. Godly.
Mankind/the first Adam fell. The image of God in man got lost. That's why there is all this predicament on earth (selfishness, greed, lust, wars, sicknesses, death, etc).
We are all born into that mess.
For the fall of man a perfect atoning sacrifice had to be made.... that is what God did in Christ.
With His own once and for all perefect sacrifice, He paid the debt for the fall of man for us, so we can be indwelled by His Spirit again and finally receive the divine life of the ages back, the first Adam let got of in the fall of man. An amazing act of grace and love by our creator.
That is what you see happening in Christ's first disciples. They too healed all and walked in unselfish love.
And yes.... that is still avaible today. The holy blood is in place, the Holy Spirit is here to give us understanding, power and transform us back to origin.
Not to be debated about, but to be embraced and be-come.
So: The Kingdom of God already came. Through Christ, in Spiritform, in those that understand.
Hence the divine healing miracles we experience.
God manifested in Christ to give us back the divine life mankind lost in the fall of Adam.
Christ, the exact image of the invisible God.
The image we were created after in Gen 1.
The image we lost in the fall of man.
The image that can be freely restored by Christ's blood and Holy Spirit working IN us.
What a plan. What a solution. What a love. What a God. Jesus is amazing.
It is the ultimate conclusion of the word and plan of God. God came full circle.
He Himself stooped down from glory to restore us back to original created value: Christlikeness. Walking in divine healing power and unselfish love.
Jesus, born of the Spirit of God, filled with the spirit of God. The "Son" of God, the incarnated word, God in the flesh.
For three years He healed all, raised the dead, casted out demons, controlled nature, spoke pure divine truth.
    He said:
"Follow Me. If you see Me, you see the Father. The Father and I are one. The glory I have IN My Father, I give to you. It pleases the Father to give you His Kingdom/Holy Spirit/divine nature. I will send Holy Spirit, the same as Me, He will be IN you, guide you into truth and give you explosive power. The same miracles i do, you will do too, because you will understand that the Father is IN Me and I am IN you. Freely I give you My Kingdom/Holy Spirit/divine nature, heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, freely I give, freely share" Etc, etc, etc.
I have experienced thousands of beautifull healing miracles through the power of Holy Spirit IN me already. Broken bones, cancers, covid, all kinds of infirmities healed in seconds. Demons manifesting and casted out by a simple "get out, in Jesus name".
Jesus. De name above all names. In Him all power and wisdom is sourced and.... He calls us one with Him. God in man and man in God again. C'mon Jesus!!
So.... again: God stooped down IN Christ to restore us back to Gen 1:27 were He said: "Let us make man according to our image and likeness and let them have authority.....": walk as Christ.
Christ, the exact image of the invisible God. The image we were created after and being restored to by His atoning blood for the fall of man and indwelling Holy Spirit.
You are free to receive this original divine life of the ages by Holy Spirit of Christ/God. Ask Him to guide you into truth. Read the Gospel of John and fall in love with your creator.
You are not made for the fall of man and its effects, but for the image/glory of God and to walk like Christ. Holy Spirit is the guide and transforming power that will get you there. Amazing grace.
A big leap in faith can be made when we start realizing we are already IN Christ, IN the last Adam.
Free from the fall! Loved! Growing into awareness of our new (yet old) godly identity. Changing by Holy Spirit. The most fullfilled life ever.
Paul healed all on Malta. He understood and wrote:
"As in the first Adam ALL died (lost the divine nature), so also ALL were made alive IN Christ to walk in Zoë (= divine life) again".
"IN Christ (the last Adam) we are co-cruisified (dead to the fall and its effects), co-raised (justified/made righteousness, holy, blameless, above reproach), co-seated (one with Him)"
"The fullness of deity dwells in Christ and YOU HAVE BEEN MADE COMPLETE IN HIM, who is the head of every principality and power".
So.... thank you Jesus! Thank you for redeeming me from the fall of man. Thank you for your Holy Spirit that makes this new (yet old) divine life come alive in me. You are amazing!
In the shadow of Peter the sick healed... He understood too and wrote:
"By Gods power (Holy Spirit) and knowing Christ, we have become partakers of the divine nature and have escaped the fall of man".
The divine life of the ages has been returned to us by Jesus once and for all perfect atoning sacrifice for the debt of the fall of man and His indwelling Holy Spirit in us. Jesus/God is amazing!!!
Ask Him to give you revelation and change you to the way it was before the fall of man: Christlikeness.
He will do so. For it is written: "the Spirit brings forth after His own kind".
"I have come to give you Zoë (divine life) in abundance...."

I do believe in the idea of using scripture to understand scripture. "Poor in spirit," is such a case.
In the alternate version of the Beatitudes in Luke 6:20, we find, "Blessed are you poor, for the kingdom is yours." Poor. Period. No predicate adjective. So the two words after poor in, "poor IN SPIRIT," in Matthew 5:3 are clearly there to indicate the other kinds of poverty besides financial poverty.
To the Hebrew mind, there was another 'spirit' in man besides the soul (I Thess. 5:23). This temporary life force was connected to the body like an animal. It became associated with what we call "the mind." When this spirit, this life force, this mind leaves the carnal body, the carnal body is dead (James 2:26). So "poor in spirit" could mean "poor in anything connected to the physical world."
These people that the we call, "poor in spirit," are called the "anawim," by the Hebrews. These are they who are not just financially poor, but blind, without limbs, suffering from leprosy, etc (cf. Luke 14:13 & 23). "Poor in spirit" is not an allusion to any self-deluded rich person. Over and over Christ condemned those greedy rich people who would not repent after the holy instructions of John the Baptist (Luke 3:1-14).
So however self-deluded, no healthy rich person is truly "poor in spirit" until they have given away their last two coins as the widow did that Christ praised. When a leader lifts someone up as a example, it should be obvious that we are to follow that example. We need to stop deluding ourselves and take seriously the few words of God when he came in a body: "Unless you forsake all your possessions, you cannot be my disciple." - Luke 14:33

I believe that Jesus did in fact proclaim the jubilee year during his public ministry from ad 29/30 to 14th nisan of ad 33. Which year is it? The jubilee is inaugurated on the 10th day after day of atonement ( if I’m not mistaken) what is the required reading according to the Jews? This will pin down the day
