Dr Scott Hahn’s videos and writings on the Covenant are a treasure. The Covenant is the Lord’s family bond with his people. This is why Jesus begins the Lord’s Prayer with “Our Father”. It’s why we call Jesus our brother. It’s why we call Mary our mother. It’s why we are co-heirs with Christ in Heaven.

It's listening to that brought me back to catholic. I was born raised Catholic but learned nothing and I left. Since I was with no church . I got linked to protestant. Then I heard you. I am back and want to learn more to be a best catholic then I was .

I have learned an important teaching as well, that as God has made His covenant with His people, the flesh of the sacrificed has to be consumed; in the old covenant the people of Israel ate the roasted lamb, and in the new covenant we have to eat the very flesh and blood of the Sacrificed, Jesus Christ the Son, and that is through the Eucharist and the Mass.
And hence, that is why Jesus says, "Very truly, I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood have eternal life, and I will raise them up on the last day." (John 6: 53-54)
