- Happy new year everyone! In today's video, I share some easy snow activities for toddlers and preschoolers. We have been so lucky that the new year has brought some beautiful snowy weather to us here in Scotland and we have been spending so much time outdoors. I want to wish everyone an amazing 2021. Let's hope it brings us all a lot for freedom and time with loved ones. I'd love to hear your favourite snow or outdoor winter activities with your little ones below. We are planning on spending at least 1000 hours outdoors this year as our new year challenge.
He is so lucky that he gets to play in the snow. Such a wonderful experience for him.

Those little boots you got are so cute! My boys have never worn anything other than sandals or flip flops...I can not imagine how amazed they would be if they saw snow in real life! I spent so much time playing in the snow as a kid, so many happy winter memories! I loved all the scenes of Ben enjoying the chilly wintery weather you guys have! And those rosy cheeks he had after playing--aww!!
Aww, Ben would happily go out in the snow without shoes! Haha! He is delighted that the snow has arrived and we are now heading back into full lockdown so I am so glad he got this little bit of freedom too! He is certainly a cutie! 😀 Thanks for watching Rachael!
Elastic bands or scrunchies over top of the wrist area of the glove but put them through the coat first if they will or tuck them in after kids tend to throw them off while throwing the snow lol

Boots are a great idea wellies get so cold 🥶 we have be using tights too it’s a great idea to keep them warm 😁

It's definitely a challenge that just got so much harder now we are back in lockdown but hey, Ben will love it no matter how far we are going for some outdoor fun! 😂 Ben would be so excited to see some fox tracks. We’ve had snow here in the Midlands for 10 days. It’s been great to get out and do something different.
My little one is 3 and has enjoyed throwing an object into the Deep snow for me to try and find. Yesterday we were throwing dog treats into the snow for the dog to sniff out.
Amazing. The snow is so great to break up the monotony of lockdown too! Ben would absolutely love that! What an awesome idea. I just need to convince Thomas we should get a dog too! 😂
@@BairnandaBackpack Today’s activity was pouring warm water into the snow to makes holes. 45 minutes peace and 2 cups of tea I managed to have 🤣
@@beckyt8698 Haha - we should measure how successful an activity is on how many cups of tea we can have. I love that! Our snow is pretty much gone now and I am so gutted. We poured water yesterday to melt the ice on our steps but doing that with snow is such a cool idea. Ben ended up soaked though! Thanks again for sharing another awesome idea!
