Fantastic rig rundown guys. Charlie is awesome. Nice to hear him mention how great Warehouse Speakers are. I put one one in my 65 Princeton Reverb Reissue and it made a great amp even better. I even liked it better than a Celestion Gold I tried. I Couldn’t be happier with Warehouse and their prices are very reasonable.
Damn, Charlie is the frickin coolest. This probably the best rig rundown I've ever seen. No douchey roadies smacking chewing gum, no obnoxious background soundchecking, and Bolinger wasn't constantly interrupting the artist. Best of all, Charlie isn't awkward, and knows what he's using and why he's using it. He's a great player with a great ear, and a super cool cat.
It's the little things that makes life's moments interestingly unique. Enjoy them. As we enjoy what you make of it all. When we teach from the heart we share little bits of love that grows to bring us all together.
Wouldn’t you just love to sit down in a pub and just shoot the shit with Charlie and Paul? They are so down to earth and cool. No wonder they make such great music, all of 'em!

Was fortunate to get to go to night 2 at the Ryman. FANTASTIC SHOW! Also got tix to night 3 at the Shed in May and can’t wait. Blackberry Smoke is the absolute best band goin right now. Bar none. Thanks for this rundown PG and JB! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Isn't that '64 Gibson a 345? The inlay and the Varitone, I thought, weren't available on a 335. Anyway, I love Charlie Starr. The way he was able to step in for The Black Crowes and play live with them was amazing. He's truly an incredible talent. And Paul seems like he's really loving life. Super nice guy.
I think there is a 345 in the roadcase behind him and they used the wrong guitar for the close up lol. Varitone isn’t on the guitar Charlie is actually handling
The whole band are stand up good guys. They're so humble and down to earth. And boy do they have talent. Great players and great singers as well. I got smoked in Copenhagen and I'm still high on it. They're top shelf
It’s the fact that with a single pickup guitar the signal goes from the pickup directly to the chord. Again with the idea of less magnetic pull. Guitarded ! The electronics have the biggest influence on e guitar sound. Not the weight not the wood
this guy actually knows his gear. pedals are TOP NOTCH and generally affordable for everyone unlike the guitars and amps. Analogman, Drybell, Chase, my goodness...
Does anybody else get excited about stupid little details like me....like, the instrument cable plugged into the Germino head that has the little gray velcro strap? I thought, hell yeah i use those on my cables too. 😂
I am an absolutely massive fan of Blackberry Smoke. They are a GREAT band and Charlie Starr is really awesome. They're carrying the Skynyrd torch for sure. I feel a really strong kindred spirit with Charlie and think we have the exact same influences. I've been recording Gary Rossington solos on my channel in the last couple of days as a tribute and I'm sure Blackberry Smoke will do a great tribute as well. We're southern boys for sure!
Rip Gary, yes bbs is a southern rock, but mostly they are a mix of crows and Atlanta jam more than southern power chords like LS did, in my humble opinion
@@shable1436 There's actually quite a bit more complexity to Skynyrd than they get credit for. I put them in the AC/DC sort of category that there are so many bad imitators of them that people start to think AC/DC isn't all that great either. I totally get what you're saying though and agree.
Getting ready to see Charlie and the boys for the fourth time next month. This band is like a breath of fresh air for southern rock and just damn good music. So nice to see this Rig Rundown.
Love the Rig Rundown with Bolinger. One thing I wish they would do is show a 30 second clip of the band playing the gig so we can hear it all together.

I grew up about 25 miles south of Lanett Alabama. In Smith's Station Alabama. If Charlie reads this, im glad someone from our area made it!! And yes Mr. Starr Sir you made it. Cause you make music that touches people in thier Souls!!! Thank you Sir !!!
Hey, Frank pedal sounds great. Can you tell me what it is so i can try and re-create it or get some pedals that are really close, or so I hope? Idk if you have seen it out there, but there's a pedal that's called "zeppelin." It's made by the guy that owns red which pedals.

Yes. Good one. Charlie is my favorite modern guitar player. So much vibe. Reminds me of Keef at times but he seems well versed and creative in any style. And cool he found that 335 in Louisville thats where I am
I'm so glad to finally get a close look at that black Esquire. I've done tons of research trying to find out about that guitar and even found it listed a few years ago on Reverb in a shop in Ohio and reached out to the shop that had sold them to ask them about it and they didn't really know too much about it. It's an unreal looking guitar!

It could be factory black, even with the weird wear. Nitro guitars that have spent appreciable time in Houston ugly different.

No it's not.. lol. It's literally the same exact guitar.
@@SixStringSlinger1 Look at the inlays - Charlie's has small block inlays, the one in the photo has split parallelogram inlays.
