Great review more than enough about specs that can actually get a bit repetitive when you're watching multiple car reviews on the same car. What I really want from a review is to see the thing, most importantly know how it drives & also compares to other models. You hit the mark perfectly, good stuff ty 👏

Love the 718 GT4 and the GTS 4.0 (I've driven both). Horses for courses for me. Regular / occasional track user = GT4. Daily / regular drive = GTS 4.0. Same engine / exhaust in both (slight rpm detune on GTS 4.0). Residuals clearly better on GT4 vs GTS 4.0 £10k less.... Nice review!

@@DrivingVenture I have a 991.2 gt3. With the 992's most of them are quieter because of the turbos and euro emissions. Gt3 won't have turbos and if anything, an exhaust can open her up if I need more noises.

@@algt4521 curious what do you prefer about the 981 versus the 718? I bought a 981 GT4 new and recently acquired a 718 and I have to stay other than the clutch being lighter and the engine seeming to have a worse sound (but much harder high RPM pull than the 3.8) I don’t think there is much of a difference. The Cayman/Boxster is quickly moving away from affordability. Porsche should take a page out of Lotus and build a new entry-level sports car based on the best selling and handling roadster the last three decades…the Mazda Miata. The ND Miata is already spectacularly designed and engineered, but give it a Porsche wide body treatment with a turbo and you’ve got yourself another winner. I would happily pay $50k-$70k for one with +250Hp.

I'll play devils advocate here and say I don't really care for your 718 GT4 "review". On the positive, your videography and editing is excellent and very well done. On the flip side, you provide 20 minutes of video without any real content. You go into great detail about the specs the owner of this car chose languishing over the seats, color choices, etc. without discussing the other options available to potential buyers. You don't really cover specs of the car except for the power. I challenge you to provide a more in-depth review going forward instead of just 20 minutes of eye candy.
