You are making this 67 year old man go back to his childhood in the kitchen with Babcia. thank you
Love the refridgerator!
In the US Meatloaf Mix is either just pork and beef or pork, beef and veal. And lately some blend in ground turkey and/or chicken. Very few of us eat lamb at all. If poultry is used it usually is used to reduce the over use of red meats on a regular basis for health concerns. Thank you for sharing your family secrets! I also noticed the maroon fridge and the pine wall. Most of us have white fridges stateside backed with drab sheetrock white walls. Very refreshing to see your kitchen style:)
Love your T shirt. I have been a Kapusta Eater since I was a little Hell Raiser. My Mom would make it with beef short ribs. Still one of my favorite foods. Mike
Reminds me of eating my grandmas cooking in Toronto. Miss her and miss eating this.
My Motto now days is "Make do or do without."😁
I'm married to a Polish man and tonight I am making the meatballs 😘
I love Polish cooking and I really like your creative cooking style. Your recipes are largely based on what you have on hand and making the best of that. Your cooking style brings back fond memories of my Polish grandmother's cooking. Nice work!
Thanks Billie, hope you keep watching!

Pulpety Sos Wlasnych, is that right?? I've spent an hour trying to get this term right to add to my cook book, hahah! I'm excited to try making your Kopytka tonight for my family, and the Pulpety will be our Sunday dinner. I can't wait!
Pulpety w sosie własnym 😊😋
@@PolishYourKitchen Hahah! Thanks so much!
My father's recipe was similar, but boiled in water with vinegar. Then thickened with sour cream & cornstarch slurry.
And he used grated saltine crackers as a binder along with the egg.
Interesting 😊
That reminds me of a recipe from the Czech side of my family for Koprová Omáčka....It's beef simmered in water or broth and vinegar, with a creamy dill gravy. Usually served over dumplings. I'm craving it now that Fall is here!
👍
Oh by the way here in the states our vinegar is 5% acidity.
And Heinz is the best!
Your garlic press looks like my potato ricer, but tiny, where did you get it?
Don't remember, but most likely Ikea :)
Meatliaf mix is. Beef, veal and pork
Wszystko pycha, tylko ja zamiast wody z mąką dodaje właśnie wywar z "rosół z pulpecikow" ...po co dawać więcej wody, zamiast zachować smak wywaru? Pozdrawiam bez obrazy, absolutnie!
Great Video But you have to get your Camera up into the playing field ..You're way out in the Parking lot bro.. Cant see anything ... Get in a little Closer The Meatballs in the water was nice Need more ,..Great job I have to try this recipe ,I Cant wait for the Holidays This is my all time best Time of the Year
whats the butter do to the broth
Butter adds a richness to the broth that I think brings out the natural meat flavor wonderfully. Thanks for watching!
I remember my grandmother and babcia pronouncing it, cut-lety. Is this another way of pronouncing it in Polish?
Or Kot-lety
Pulpet and kotlet is different. Pulpet is boiled like in the video, kotlet is fried.
Interesting that the Polish word for meatball "pulpety" is virtually the same as the Italian word "polpetti."
and veal
Anna, me your neighborhood hero.ha...I want you to make a cooking video or videos and I'll pay.
😁
Never heard of it. Only kotlety
I don't have perogies, that's it am panicking, the world is ending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh NOOOO!!! Make some ;)
Yum!
