  • This was my first reaction to "Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals: NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert" 🔥!! He is so full of talent and makes performing at such a high level, look like it's the easiest thing in the world to do. I was so glad to get to see Anderson BEFORE Silk Sonic, so I appreciate you guys for that!!

I love Silk Sonic, but I have ALWAYS loved Anderson way before that. He’s been doin it for about a decade now. You really gotta get into his solo works and his collabs with Knxwledge, Kendrick, and several other features and you’ll see that aside from the Silk Sonic stuff, he’s got his own signature sound.

Anderson .paak is the most exciting performer I've seen in forever. I fell down his solo rabbit hole after Silk Sonic. His talent is amazing. And the Free Nationals are phenomenal. You should react to "Dang" which id Mac Miller's song that Andy is on. Live instrumentation..Andy and Bruno are bringing this music back and we've needed it. This was the most viewed Tiny Desk Concert ever. Keep up the fabulous reactions young man !

I’ve gotten more than a few requests for “Dang”. So I may just have to hop right to that. Thank you so so much!

Oh my goodness! I have love Anderson for years. To me, he is far more talented than most entertainers in his field of expertise.

Tiny Desk is taped at the offices of NPR (National Public Radio) in Washington DC. The audience are NPR employees. These are stripped down versions of the artists' work. Big stars and new artists from every music genre have appeared on the series. During Covid, the stars were entertaining from home. They are now back at the office after 2 years. Anderson's concert (2016) is the most viewed at over 90 million.

He grew up playing drums in the church. The soulful sound comes from his roots in gospel. It’s raw and authentic and his charisma adds another dimension to his work and sound.

I completely agree with that. His stage presence and charisma all add to how great he is

Check out the live performance of 'Bubblin/Milk and Honey on Sirius XM Concert (2019) by Anderson. He won a Grammy for 'Bubblin'. He also has an official visualizer out with Mary J. Blige on 'Here With Me' (2022).

Good Afternoon Zero. Yessssss Anderson. Paak is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. This is groovy. He and Bruno Mars were doing an interview and he said that his Mom brought him his first drum kit at age 11. Awesome and talented. 🥰🥰 stay delightful.

The second song Heart don’t stand a chance is an AP staple. He now opens his shows with this song, but with a new arrangement that brings in horns. Here is one of his most recent performances he did in connection with the launch of his shoe/apparel line with VANS. You can get a sense of his solo work with his band Free Nationals.

His mother bought him his first drum set when he was eleven. I've never seen Mr. Raspby when he is not smiling😀😀. Ok, after you're done with Silk Sonic let's do Bruno Mars Superbowl 2014 he's done two of them. Next up is Andy's song Bubblin (the live version) Great reaction by the way!

The GrubHub concert is a banger as well. Really clean audio and the backup singers and trumpet make a huge difference.

The first three songs he performed was off his classic album Malibu, which was nominated for a Grammy. You should listen to kore of his music…he’s so versatile you can put him in a box. Each album is different with its style …Malibu is different than Oxnard, which is different than Ventura, which DID win a Grammy. Suede is off his album Yes Lawd by Nx Worries, his collab with Knowledge. Speaking of which, they just dropped a new single and video today called Where I Go, featuring H.E.R. Check it out…
