Super cute! You can also add coffee grinds or even make a super strong cup of coffee using regular coffe (just make it like 4 times stronger) or use instant (my fav way) and when the cookies are dry, you can swipe the coffee mix over the cookie and you can layer it when it dries to add that baked look to the edges or all around the cookies...I know the salt dough tends to whiten as it dries even more =) I Have actually used the shaving cream puff paint before with my son, but I remember putting it in the microwave for a few seconds to get it to "puff" so im glad you did this like this...I use mod podge, caulking, & paint to make my frosting, but this would work too!
I make these fake drinks but what I do is make that cardboard top small enough to fit just in side the top of the glass and after I have painted the inside of the glass I put in bunched up paper or store plastic bags and then put the cardboard top on it with hot glue and then finish it off with the lightweight spackle topping that way you're not wasting anything and you have a base inside your glass
Oh my goodness!!! You are beyond talented. I'm absolutely loving your beautiful creations. Valentine's day is my favorite holiday. Thank you for sharing your lovely talents. Muck live to you. 💗💕💗
OMG WOW! You did such a Great job with these DYI holiday items. I'm not crafty so I wouldn't try any of these but you made them look so easy, I may just try a cookie or two.. Love your videos.
Cakes are easy you can use anything and frost it like you would with a cakethe spackling compound adheres to anything you want metal plastic glass I haven't found anything it doesn't adhere to, let your imagination run wild
Beautiful! Silly question but I see many selling cookies and wanted to try doing so, do you know if salt dough will hold off or just recommend not selling them since salt dough might not be so durable? Thank you :).
Lightweight spackling compound is much easier to use than caulk, trust me I've used both you just put the spackling compound in a piping bag there's videos on the internet to do that if you've never used one
I don’t know how long it will last in the bottle because I use mine right away but it should be loose enough to be able to be squeezed out the bottle but thick enough where it’s not runny and it does dry hard after a while. I hope that helps 😊 I will be doing another one for Christmas time
Ok, the white was kinda thick I thought. I used half of the flour. Had no problems squeezing out of bottle but it didn’t seem like it spread out easy was kinda a little lumpy. How could I thin it out next time if I need too? Add more glue? The green was more runny and had to add all the flour. But the white did kinda level off. I really was very happy with results. Should I seal it? My cookie was made out of model magic. Thanks so much for sharing! Can’t wait for your next video, will be looking for it! 😊
So sorry with all the questions. This morning I checked my cookies and the center are still soft. How long does it take for them to dry complete hard? I googled the question and it said 4 hours. Yikes! Did I do something wrong? Or will they eventually dry. I was excited to do more this morning but I’m afraid to do more till I figure out if they will completely dry. Thank so much for your patience and time Am revising this. It is finally starting to set up. Thought I did something wrong. Guess it was too thick to dry sooner.
Oh no problem with the questions sorry I am getting back to you so late I never have used the model magic so I am not sure how long it will take to dry sorry. The fake cookies I made were completely dry by the next morning. Yes you should seal them and you can do it with mod podge if you like.
with the fake drink did you use acrylic or oil and whats the ratio to it, because mine keeps falling to the bottom, is it possible to use a little flower or corn starch to make it less runny?
Are you talking about the paint color on the inside or the fake whip cream? I just painted the inside of the cups with apple barrel craft paint from walmart. I waited till each coat dried fully before I painted another layer of paint. I hope that helps

You're welcome.
I love this! What consistency should it be once you had the flour?
Mine came our like melted marshmallow And will it stay in those bottles for awhile or must use right away?
