    I have been scouting the Internet, trying to find something to use as powdered sugar; then I came across this video.
    I'm not sure what twist of fate just happened, but this video started at the exact point you were using baby powder. 🤯🥰 Incredible. And I thank you from the bottom of my heart❤

      I don't know what you're using it for, but sometimes it doesn't stick well. In that case I use joint compound powder from the hardware store.

    Great tutorial, thank you for sharing!! How long do you wait for them to “set” before you seal them?

    • @CassieSmallwood
      @CassieSmallwood  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When you say "seal them", do you mean decorate them? If so, overnight should be enough to be able to handle them. If you want them completely dry first, your clay packaging should say what the drying time is. I decorated mine immediately but they're hard to handle like that.

    • @debbe9553
      @debbe9553 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CassieSmallwood do you use a spray to seal after decorating? With paint projects one artist told me that she lets her creations set/dry for 2 weeks before using a sealant on them. I think you would, to make sure your coconut flakes and sprinkles all stay put.

    • @CassieSmallwood
      @CassieSmallwood  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@debbe9553 Oh! I don't seal mine but they're for my own use. If I were selling them I probably would put a sealer on. The amount of time you need to wait before sealing will depend on the weather where you live. If it's humid, probably a week or 2 before sealing them. 2 weeks seems like an extremely long time to me. In drier places it may take less time.

      Is your clay wet? If so, when you touch it it tends to come off. You can let the clay dry before painting.
