I got a tubular k member with stock a arms but switched to aerospace brake kit with the aluminum hubs but used stock spindles. And double adjustable coilovers. Aerospace said the new brake kit weights what 1 side of the factory brakes did.
I had 84 camaro that wieght at 3050 with me in it (210lbs). Had the k member, 9inch rear and torque arm, stock suspension stock body panels with fiberglass cowl on steel hood, full interior and carpet. It ran 10.75et 1/4 mile 130mph and 6.89et 1/8 mile 101mph. Motor 383 strocker with brodix intake and heads. Dyno tuned to the wheels 430hp. I should've kept it and it would've been a great no prep car just by takeing the weight out and adding nitrous to it😢
I am eyeballing a tubular k member and a-arms on Facebook marketplace right now but i can only get them 1 at a time and even then i can't get the first one until the 15th so may miss out on both.
@boostinwillie right... I keep telling myself, just get the car running and buy stuff as you can and upgrade as you go. But then my "just do it right the first time" brain kicks in and the car has taken 3 years to get close to running... lol 🤦♂️
😂😂😂 seeing that Carpenter hammer, makes me want to send ya a Tonya Harding 5000 for no other reason other than I can.
😂😂😂 it’s the only one that I could summon lol
@@boostinwillie at least it wasnt a pink handled 6 0x that comes in a walmart special case. 🤣🤣🤣

We getting ready to cut some weight off our frontend too. We going to skip the k-memeber and just cut from shock forward amd hope it's enough lol.
Weight off the front, that S10 already light 😮
