My grandpa taught me this. i had a silverado in highschool that I had making 400 ish and I was thinking about turbo charging it, he said it won't last. I found out the hard way and sold it blown. Bought a C-10 sitting on his property and tossed a big journal 283 in it and drove that motor into the ground with multiple rebuilds. It wasn't crazy fast but it was ROWDY and was neck snapper when I came blaring down the road spinning through 3rd

What chaps my ass is the fox/ls guys win a race and then brag about the ls powerplant and never say anything about the big ole turbo they got hanging off the front of it or the mustang its in .. if the ls is so star spangled awesome then why are there novas chevelles vegas camaros s10 trucks blazers and dozens of other vehicles in the pits with ls powerplants under the hood but they didnt win . They will tell me how many horsepower and my answer is so ur telling me theres not another motor in the world that will match your horsepower ??? Ls3 can make way more power than 485rwhp but for big power adders iron block is the choice now I'm assuming that you're talking about stock aluminum blocks bc they make some aluminum blocks that dog iron blocks

1100 is fuckin fast in nearly anything most crap on the street has what under 400 to the wheels

No digs, no let’s just see what it does, if they don’t know the guys set up they’re racing, they’ll back out at the last second everytime.
