    Living on Immokalee east of Collier makes for a very convenient life. All of my needs are located between
    Immokolee/Vanderbilt & Collier/41. Vanderbilt beach is straight 9 miles down Vanderbilt Road, Also, I looked for five years and couldn’t find a property right for me - until - i decided to go a bit east. Wow, beautiful new places with lots of amenities. It was so great to look at clean open floor plans that were bright and new! No brown speckled granite. But alas, prices have run up, over two years doubling in some cases. I got in right under the wire.

      The new neighborhoods in that area have brought new businesses, making it much more convenient to live there. And it is still a more affordable area, but not for long as more people discover it.

      East Naples off of Tamiami Trail E. The neighborhood is called Naples Manor. Mostly small older houses and a lot of rentals.

      Their amenities include a fitness/gym room, tennis, and a pool.

    I'm thinking of moving my parents to the isles of collier preserve, but I saw that huge alligator video (roaming around houses, I think last year). Is this something my 70s California parents will be worried about outside their home? That looked pretty scary, like it could just park outside your house and be there when you walk out. I want them to live in that beach, canal area. Are gators a problem there? How often do you see them??

    • @LaurieRoseREALTORNaplesFL
      @LaurieRoseREALTORNaplesFL  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You will find alligators in fresh water, so many golf courses have gators and you can see them swimming. It is very rare to encounter one close up. In the 18 years I have been here, I have seen two run across the road. If you live by the beach and there is no fresh water around, I doubt you will ever see one.

      Ummm, this is Florida. If you want to be in Southern Florida you are miles from the Everglades. Alligators really arent a problem but they are here, this is their home. Florida is wonderfully all about Nature. Beautiful Florida trees, flowers, plants, birds, and yes retiles. Miami is sterile, city, less Nature, but southern Florida, perhaps they would want there

    Naples Bonita Springs South fort Myers Florida is destroyed way too many people move there and I don't even know why unless you like red tide and lousy drivers ridiculous and they don't even have Disneyland It's just overrun Bonita Springs used to be beautiful they overpopulated Bonita I lived there for 28 years I had to move I was working trying to get to work in the morning during the snowbird season when it usually took me a half hour to get to work it took me over an hour trying to beat the breakfast crowd and then when you're trying to get home from work you got to try to beat the two for one happy hour crowd very frustrating God forbid if you want to go to the beach and there's red tide forget it he'll get sick so unless you got millions and you're in a nice gated community with pools restaurants golf course the whole deal then it's okay for maybe a month or two plus it's hotter than hell fire and with the weather being so unpredictable anymore hurricanes are a major threat and if you bring your dogs from up North watch the red ants and don't walk them on the concrete in the summertime it'll burn your feet burn their pads off the place is shot
