Great Video I moved to Naples 6 years ago and I think the locals do not hate Snowbirds, they know that they generate income for a lot of people in Naples, but they hate the traffic especially during morning and evening rush hour. So, my advice to Northerners since you are retired or on vacation is to stay off the roads during rush hour, and real estate prices are high all over its supply and demand. Enjoy your stay.

My Grandpa gave me advise once when I was a kid and I can barely remember it. He had a house in Miami and one in Isle of Capri. He said Ft.Meyers would one day be too crowded and Naples, very expensive, but maybe he hoped I would be able to afford to live there one day. It's where I want to go; I'm working on how.
I moved back to California after living in Naples for 2 years. Don't get me wrong, I love it for the most part - but humidity, rain, and MOSQUITOS (OMG, I HATE IT) - drove me away. Other little things that I missed was diversity. I missed authentic Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Mexican ... (name a country, any country) food culture that's readily available in California. There are other things, but for the most part, it was the bugs. Sure, where I am is about 3 times more expensive than Naples, but I think you get what you pay for. But if you can deal with the bugs and lack of diversity, I think Naples is awesome.
I'd be their in my 50's most likely! Still enough to enjoy walking on the sand in either Marco Island or Naple Fl and then getting something to eat as well as playing some golf. I'd love to wake up to play golf and then go to the beach to watch the sunset in one day!! I'd be in heaven despite the traffic/bugs. I love them storms, and beaches!! For kayaking mostly and light bike riding.
I know I lived in Naples since 1982 until 1994 my son was born in Naples and Naples community hospital in 88 so I know exactly what you're talking about you're at my hometown
We're going to Naples next month in July and taking my oldest granddaughter. We are leaving form Long Island NY. Now Naples is beautiful and I hate the winter as I'm in my late 60's. Now the problem like some others is that my kids and grand-kids live really close to us here and we see them often. For us if we moved to Naples and not see our family that often. Moving there it is out of the question. Now if my kids were there I would absolutely love to move there.
Not too many 75 degree days. Lots of brutal heat & humidity, bugs, rude people, crooked government, ( cops & judges ) looking to fleece you any way possible, overpriced food, bad service generally knowing its a resort town, high turnover.. Lots of grey heads .. some on wrong side of road. 😳 Living there aint the same as visiting..
I am in Fort Myers currently. Want to move to Naples but everything I read online is that Naples is for ‘ultra rich old, nearly dead people’. Not sure what to think of this.
I stayed in Naples for 3 years I recently just moved to Miami . Naples was cool just not to many thing to do for the younger crowd .. so that’s why I moved for better opportunities and more things to do
My wife and I want to relocate to south west Florida and have been making annual trips to different parts and Naples is our favorite. We can’t wait. Part of reason for moving is to flee the corrupt government in our New England state
Welcome to naples Delvin I’m originally born and raised in Miami and moved to Naples for a better life for my kids I’ve been here since 2008 little secret don’t get in no trouble here because you will go down it’s not like Miami or Fort Lauderdale or your area they give you a slap on the wrist there but here you doing your time
I lived in Naples in 1983 and 84 and it was expensive than that's part of why people are drawn to Naples because it's an exclusive community and it has historic Pierre and all kinds of great fishing there's lots of things to do in Naples I loved it when I was there a great place
The Springs in central Florida are close too and stunning. There is also hunting and fishing, plenty of preserves for hiking and sightseeing, a ton of parks, and rich animal life. Naples needs Northerns, even if season is frustrating it keeps our city beautiful.
The tourism in the winter is what brings the money to the small and big business owners in Naples. I've lived here for almost 2 years and I see a huge difference in between seasons. In the summer there's never any traffic and places are dead. Kinda sad really
daaamn, that food looks like LIFE right there! So on point! IM getting super hungry watching that segment. Nice work!!! It's 11PM in Denver here and im ready to feast now!! Great content!!
Yeah Floridians dont want liberals coming here ruining a good thing who u vote in matters see what the Californias have done to Austin, Tx but i must say all the NY/NJ ppl i have met have been cool people... i love Florida im also a transplant but not from up north lol...Naples is gorgeous!

I live in Naples too, and I do love it, season can be tough a lot of traffic. There are some other great restaurants, I would like to mention that I love to go to, USS Nemo on Tamiami Trail N for seafood like you have never tasted. if you like Greek food you MUST go to Zorbas Mediterranean Grille and Bar! Nearby in Bonita Springs, on Bonita Beach Rd. Just past North Naples. Fabulous food, cocktails, beautiful place, with outdoor patio and great service. Also the mascot George the parrot is entertaining when he talks. The beaches are incredible, and go out on the boat often. Beautiful place to live!
I’ve LOVED living in Naples since 1969 when I was 14 & there was only Naples High School & vacationed here for 6 years before that. You will find that once people move here they want to shut the door & everything to freeze frame. Just know, that won’t happen. Life will continue to evolve. But leave your liberal politics in the states you escaped from. DeSantis is the best Governor we’ve ever had IMHO & got us thru the Plandemic with as little pain as possible. We welcome those with the intention of enjoying life & allowing everyone else to do the same.
Naples weather is like Key West... its PARADISE...fucking awesome fresh locally grown foods. I haven’t found a restaurant that was horrible..they all had their pluses. even a hole in the wall could be halfway decent. PLUS Freedom!!!!
My good friend just moved from Kansas to Naples and he loves it, I fully intend to move there soon! I am understanding the naples/gulf side has very few severe weather issues?
Great video. Recently went to visit a close relative that lives out there in the Golden Gate Estates, and really enjoyed my time there. Really looking Forward to possibly making a move down there as well. Looking to see if the job market matches what I’m looking for. I did find that for as big as Naples is geographically, the City areas are quite small, I did see your videos and found some nice places would like to try when I go back. But I do think that the city not being over the top is it’s charm, very relaxing. I loved seeing people on horseback and ATVs out there which is different from Florida I’m used to. Hopefully it works out for me. Thanks for the videos keep it up.
PLEASE do LOTS of research on Golden Gate Estates before you move there. I had a flat out AWFUL experience living back there. It seems great at first but it is not. Has anyone told you it burns down EVERY spring? LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF ACRES BURN. Our whole neighborhood burned down 6 months after we moved there. 1500 acre fire that burned for 9 DAYS. It's constant construction as well and they can legally start at 6.30am and do so. Traffic is horrid. You are close to nothing. And if your neighbor likes guns and does not have a good berm, expect your property to be sprayed with bullets. On the reg. Please do more research on all the things I listed. As well as no cell service, no high speed internet, weird/violent and deadly crimes as well. Maybe you are more suited for the ins and outs of inland Florida but I sure as hell was not educated as to what exactly GGE is all about. It's beautiful but remember looks can be deceiving.
you made me laugh. you CAN NOT catch manatees right from the shoreline. you can see manatees and all of the beautiful wildlife that we have here but please don't catch a manatee or you will catch a felony. Mercato is nice but not all places are what they are hyped up to be. boating sailing paddle boarding jet skis canoes and kayaks lots of fishing and fun. sunset are awesome here. 5th ave south is our downtown but not what you might see up north. be prepared to see wealth and and money everywhere you look but there is another aspect to Naples that was not mentioned. check out veterans memorial in Cambier Park. fun for kids at Baker park and ugg ... pickle ball. the truck won't run you off the road but it feels like it. lots of gyms yoga sushi (Noodles Italian Cafe) hobby stores and furniture places. lots of pets (we love doggies here) and lots of places to take your four legged friends. Naples is beautiful Ron DeSantis rocks and this is one of the happiest places to live in the US. Great vid
I think he meant see the videos from the shoreline.....catch as in see....not literally catch as in fishing. That's what I got out of his remark, anyway.
@@MacGregorLassie I'm pretty sure that's the way he meant it but i thought it sounded funny so i commented . hopefully nobody will try fishing for manatees.
There are several dog parks all over Naples and most of the outdoor areas are friendly to dogs. Veterans Park for example. Then the beaches always have dogs on them.
@@CP-mp5nn Veterans Park is in Lehigh Acres not Naples. The only place that allows off leash dogs in Naples is Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park. Naples beach doesn’t allow dogs on the beach nor does Vanderbilt Beach. And yes there’s breed restrictions.
@michelle Lynn there is several dog parks in Naples, starting with Veterans Park off of Immokalee. It’s listed as a dog park even, no breed restrictions and friendly dogs don’t need to be on a leash. There are plenty of restrictions on bully breeds in Naples but some gems are still out there. I’m happy to do tours of nice places that I take my mastiff.
Thank you, I have a new financial channel. this one will only be real estate but had to build that one up first. th-cam.com/channels/OlbjeTPbKD5eRNA6ZUAIrA.html
I have been living in Naples for 11 years now. The weather is great of course but do keep in mind that this a small city that has ZERO intentions of growing. It is designed and ran to support a mostly retired resident base. The local economy is driven primarily from supporting a never ending stream of snowbirds who eventually become permanent residents. The second and closely tied is the healthcare industry. It's likely you will never find another city with more doctors, staff, clinics and hospitals per capita anywhere else in the world. The rest are things like real estate, finance and wealth management, high end home construction and other services all focused mainly around that same retired base of residents. If you are still actively working it's important to keep in mind that Naples doesn't offer much diversity or potential in the labor force. Keep in mind that most of those who can and do retire here did not get there growing up in this town. The nightlife and food scene is pretty generic when compared to bigger cities, most restaurants and stores close early by comparison and particularly during our off-season (Summer). Even at peak times of the year never expect any single place to be crowded. Keep in mind the median age in Naples is 66 when just 30 minutes north on the coast in Ft. Myers it's just around 40.
Hold up 75 degrees that’s Rare I lived there twice for a good 5 years each time 75 rn is rare so quite bs hurricanes yes that’s tru yes we hate them yea but Naples is busy so pple coming in we call it season is in season is out not all of try to try to run pple off the road the cars to us are normal Naples is like little maimi a rich ass city but expensive as hell the carnival only comes once a a year just like the county fair Sarasota is 2 hours away from Naples
Visiting Naples for the first time. If we want to retire here in 2023 what area should we look in? Price range around 900,000 and would like to be close to the beach??
I'm originally from California and been living in Austin TX for 4 years. They're really negative towards people from CA. Don't get me wrong, Texans are really polite and amazing, but they're really concerned about the Californians moving here. Being from LA I never developed a prejudice towards people from out of state because almost everyone was from out of state including a lot of Texans and Floridians. People from out of state completely drove up the real estate prices too so it was impossible to buy there. Now that's happening here in Austin, but we can't blame people from out of state. We're all Americans at the end of the day.
It is one of the freeist states and friendliest to job creators. Now the republicans in Texas are ending property taxes on single family homesteaded properties with all of the billions that the job creators have created and paid . california people, New Yorkers and Connecticut people are indoctrinated leftist. Just check the reg of voters if you get a new neighbor from a leftist state

Truth
We have been going to Naples since the 70's, and I love working in the winter at Naples community hospital 🏥 🙃 and I love The ⛳ 🏌️♂️

I am in Fort Myers currently. Want to move to Naples but everything I read online is that Naples is for ‘ultra rich old, nearly dead people’. Not sure what to think of this.

Hit me up on( ig ) if you want to know more about naples Dativyqueen
I lived in Naples in 1983 and 84 and it was expensive than that's part of why people are drawn to Naples because it's an exclusive community and it has historic Pierre and all kinds of great fishing there's lots of things to do in Naples I loved it when I was there a great place

The Springs in central Florida are close too and stunning. There is also hunting and fishing, plenty of preserves for hiking and sightseeing, a ton of parks, and rich animal life. Naples needs Northerns, even if season is frustrating it keeps our city beautiful.
Thanks for sharing! I appreciate you watching and commenting.
The tourism in the winter is what brings the money to the small and big business owners in Naples. I've lived here for almost 2 years and I see a huge difference in between seasons. In the summer there's never any traffic and places are dead. Kinda sad really

How kid\family friendly is Naples? And which family+kid friendly neighborhoods for renting apartment or condo is good?..renting at 1st then buying😉

Naples weather is like Key West... its PARADISE...fucking awesome fresh locally grown foods. I haven’t found a restaurant that was horrible..they all had their pluses. even a hole in the wall could be halfway decent. PLUS Freedom!!!!

Thanks for sharing! I appreciate you watching and commenting.
It's Amazing and Fun with this video.
Enjoy all your BLESSINGS TO COME.

Great video mate.. I'm so blessed to live here. Btw what camera are you using?
Thanks for sharing! I appreciate you watching and commenting.
you made me laugh. you CAN NOT catch manatees right from the shoreline. you can see manatees and all of the beautiful wildlife that we have here but please don't catch a manatee or you will catch a felony. Great vid
I’ll be using your ideas, thank you
@@CultureEstate all in fun. Naples is definitely different but fun and happy. Glad you and your family is here.

Please do a video about the best dog friendly activities near Naples! Beaches, parks, restaurants ty!!!
Hate to break it to you but Naples has nothing for dog fun, you’ll have to make your own fun. It’s not a dog friendly town.

This season’s snowbirds are staying rather than return to their dreadful lockdown/mask mandate states. Local businesses are celebrating.

@@CultureEstate Really Enjoy your videos and would like to get some real estate information about Naples.
Thanks for sharing! I appreciate you watching and commenting.
