It still amazes me watching how Puddin' just seems to randomly work through the issues he's facing and then wham, the final product is just unreal. I know he makes mistakes along the way but the vision he starts with and then the final product that emerges, is just truly awesome. Keep up the good work, Puddin'!
When you get older it’s time vs money and when your time is money sometimes it’s just smart to farm things out like the Vintage Air in the 61, props old man 😏
Anyone that hates tinted windows either are fair weather drivers or don't live in the south, it's not a luxury down here it's a must, go's for a/c also. It may not look the best but if you want to ride all year you really need it. SCOUT II...Please, and give the IH Cub some love, she is the reason I found your channel.
Puddin', I realize I'm only one subscriber and it doesn't mean much. That said, in response to the justifying of the AC work on the wagon, I subscribed during the Datsun King build. I enjoyed watching the fabrication stuff. Well, there hasn't been a whole lot of fabricating since then BUT I'm still a fan of yourself and the channel. So, if I wanted to learn how to install AC units I'd watch a channel that focuses on AC work. I like watching your channel regularly because I feel I can relate to you and for the entertainment value. I appreciate you and the stand you take for your family. Thank you for your hard work in putting out these videos.
Oh no tinted windows on the Travelall? Oh my goodness, do they not have that old stool trick of fitting a black light on the interior? That lights do it Puddin! 😂😮
hey puddin female arts and crafture here who enjoyed watching your channel Have you considered maybe using a temporary fixative to set your pieces is your measuring instead of just tack welding everything they have temporary craft bonds and glues that are reversible like E300 or a placing putty that you can set into place as you figure out the sizing on things also Theo looks like a happy healthy puppy
You should ask the tint guy how light they can get some ceramic tint, a lot of companies make 70% and lighter (I’ve seen 95% even) that would cut out the UV but still give you the fishbowl look for the wagon. It really does make a huge difference
It’s awesome you had him put the AC on the wagon, you’re sharing the love to your fellows. What gonna do with the money you make, take to the grave with you lol. Helps support their business!
Not many channels get me to laugh out loud, but your sense of humor is just my style. When you joked about using up your flat stock off camera until you got the gage just right with reject pieces laying all over the floor... hilarious!
I think I am starting to like the second channel more than the main channel. I love the updates on what is going on behind the scenes and the OG projects like the Travelall. Still my favorite build. Thanks for sharing!
You could check on getting some of those vinyl strips to hang from the ceiling to partition off the main shop from the parking area shop. They worked pretty good in our shop when we had them up.
Push the cap tight to one side, measure end of cap to wall in rim. Cut the number in half then cut a small piece of wood that length and use that as a spacer
somehow i think the black-out film in the 61 more matches it's character . i'd keep the white steelies on the travelall and tint the windows green ... whatever you decide will be cool . i questioned the mercedes build in the beginning , but man i love the look of that thing now
consider some of the lighter blue tint w/ high UV rating. Doesnt have to be too dark anymore. And hot rods have had colored glass they used to call 'tinted' going back to the 50s. Ask Bill.
I’m happy I got to buy a shirt when they released Monday instead of always forgetting and then they’re all out of my size! Glad you’re doing well and living the dream. We get to live it with you and that’s great too. Build em how you want em. All your builds are awesome so tint away and enjoy driving them!
And for the tint get ceramic it’s more but you can go lighter and still keep the uv out I went super dark 5% in the front and 2.5% in the rear of my car and I have to drive with my windows down in the morning when I leave for work or I’m hitting trash cans and everything else backing out granted I’m a welder and have bad eyes to start off with but I’m legally blind at night lol
Puddin, paint them new 20s white and go with a 35% on the tint. Won’t be a huge difference in the look but give you the results that you are looking for!! Keep up the great work!!!!
Friend, I say make it easy on yourself, but I will watch your videos whatever you put out. It feels like hanging out with a friend. So, that said, let’s do whatever you want to do. I’m just along for the ride. Wouldn’t mind more welding projects. Just bought a welder myself.
I am actually watching that whole Travelall build right now, just at the point where you are shaving the firewall down, filling in some holes. I think you did it at Randy's too now that I think of it. Nice build series if you haven't watched it, I suggest it.
Thanks for another good one Puddin! I'm really glad that you are at the point in your life and career where you can "farm out" a few jobs that you don't have time or inclination to tackle! Good on you! Gets things done, and gives you more time with your family. As for the tint on the Travel-All, I'd say it'll look great. Don't worry about the nay-sayers. It's your rig, do what you want!!
They had tinted glass back then, think it was green in color though, kinda wierd. Swear you just had something that had it awhile back. Imo some light tint looks ok on older cars. I don’t care for blacked out either on older stuff.
Gets excited when I get that puddin,s notification your hard work has paid of for your family and friends thankyou for bringing us along for the ride 🙏👌
Sometimes working from the center out will get you a better layout on something like a wheel. Make a jig that registers on the center hole and scribe the dimensions from there. I work with aircraft propellers and spinners (nose cones) that have to operate on precise centers. I picked up a few tips from the old timers through the years.
PUDDIN, YOU DOIN PUDDIN , KEEP DOIN PUDDIN.....WE WILL LOVE IT OR HATE IT!!! DOESNT MATTER WHEN TIME DICTATES THE HEALTH OF YOURSELF YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS..... TAKE THEO OUT FOR A RIDE........ALOT!!!
Tinted windows and black steelies sounds pretty sweet. Man you have to have a wagon the family is happy riding in. Still looks old school petina but has some modern amenities. Win win!
Tint today is awesome, you can get a ceramic tint that blocks UV without being dark. Would look good on a classic, it's what I'm going to use on my 54 Chevy truck
We were in Durant OK 2 weeks ago and it was 107*. It wasn't nearly as bad as 95* in Houston with 95% humidity. Plus it was 79* in the morning. That's cool compared to 90* in the morning.
Hey Puddin! A lot of cars from the 30’s- 50’s had clips riveted on the wheels for hub caps. I’ve seen them in some of the catalogue’s for these cars. You’re welcome! lol
great video cant wait to see them all done!!!! have a great weekend man

Agreed
Not to mention privacy.. Who in their right mind wouldn't want that, especially these days! 👍
Tinted windows on classic rides are for Chuds!
@@user-hy5bu3og1nyou tarded?
I think super dark tint looks super good on any car and only had positives
THE TRAVELALL AND WAGON IS THE PERFECT PAIR OF CRUISERS NICE WORK .

Spend so much time building 'em... It's only fair you get to spend time enjoying 'em!!
👍👍 it makes me smile to see you and Theo playing. He’s a lucky boy.
Keep a handful of kids plastic letter magnets in your shop. 3 of those would have made centering that hubcap a snap... love the projects Puddin
Oh no tinted windows on the Travelall? Oh my goodness, do they not have that old stool trick of fitting a black light on the interior? That lights do it Puddin! 😂😮
Woo hoo! 100K subs on the second channel! Congrats, and well done Puddin!
I see also the SomedaymodelA video has one million views good for you l hope that it’s the first of many you deserve it
Also a couple surfboards on the travelall would help a ton with heat manager! Keeps the cab from baking so much
light shaded ceramic tint, the ceramic tint helps with keeping the heat out
hey puddin female arts and crafture here who enjoyed watching your channel Have you considered maybe using a temporary fixative to set your pieces is your measuring instead of just tack welding everything they have temporary craft bonds and glues that are reversible like E300 or a placing putty that you can set into place as you figure out the sizing on things also Theo looks like a happy healthy puppy

Glad to see the wagon. The wagon videos is what got me hooked on your channel.

Was great meeting you at Taco Boy! Happy to support you making great content and great vehicles in Pott Co.!
Both vehicles are awesome looking
It’s awesome you had him put the AC on the wagon, you’re sharing the love to your fellows. What gonna do with the money you make, take to the grave with you lol. Helps support their business!
Yes they didn't have tinted windows and big steelies back in the day but the same can be said for the air ride. But it all looks good to me!!!
Not many channels get me to laugh out loud, but your sense of humor is just my style. When you joked about using up your flat stock off camera until you got the gage just right with reject pieces laying all over the floor... hilarious!
Nothing better than a project going faster than you expected.
The ball-chiller vent is the one option they should have NEVER removed from vehicles. Glad your new AC unit has one.
Agree - the GM crotch cooler was perfect.
I think I am starting to like the second channel more than the main channel. I love the updates on what is going on behind the scenes and the OG projects like the Travelall. Still my favorite build. Thanks for sharing!
Good sized ball bearings tacked on the wheels seems like a good solution to holding the hub caps on.👍
The ceramic tint really helps keep out the heat without going too dark
I think some red tint like the old gassers used would look cool on the wagon
AC for that car was the proper choice. You will really enjoy that
I will go on record and state, Christine looked really great with tinted windows lol
Great video! Always look forward to Thursday!
You should use those plastic trim removers for car interiors to pop the caps off so you don't scratch the paint
Gives me a big smile when I see that ❤Theo❤ OK. Love his nice big house especially when they love cardboard boxes. ❤️🐕❤️
Very nice upgrades on the Travel-all !
Ceramic tint does wonders for heat management! Do it!
Some of the 50's and 60's had a green tint on the windows. I think that would look great on the wagon.
You don’t have to go super dark on the window tint all you have to do is make sure that it has UV protection it can take 90% of the heat out
Jacob, you DESERVE THIS. Shine BRIGHT in this moment. It will help others find their way.
@@mdouglaswray 👍
Puddin, just a simple weld bead would work great, grind it to fit
Mon and Thursdays puddin time love it
somehow i think the black-out film in the 61 more matches it's character . i'd keep the white steelies on the travelall and tint the windows green ... whatever you decide will be cool . i questioned the mercedes build in the beginning , but man i love the look of that thing now
Puddin, ya just showed me the way to the promised land. Now I just have to find center caps I like. Thanks brother!
Just in time. I needed another puddin video this week.
Tint forsure makes any vehicle look better.. my opinion.. driving a car without tint is like running around the store in just your boxers
51:20 man that thing sounds good. Still one my favorite builds.
What a pair of beautiful customs. I really am impressed with your solutions to unique problems.
Thanks for showing the process. It gives amateurs like me inspiration. Puddin for Prime Minister! Full disclosure, I'm from Canada.
Thank you for the Video’s! Appreciate you bringing us along!
Window tint is key!
consider some of the lighter blue tint w/ high UV rating. Doesnt have to be too dark anymore. And hot rods have had colored glass they used to call 'tinted' going back to the 50s. Ask Bill.
guy has a main channel, a second channel, a decent size family, a merch shop, friends, a dog, and still does stuff behind the scenes.
PUDDIN THURSDAY BABY!!!🇨🇦♥️🇺🇸💯👍
That wheel looked awesome in matte black with the chrome
Congrats on another 100k subs. This guy is unstoppable!
I’m happy I got to buy a shirt when they released Monday instead of always forgetting and then they’re all out of my size! Glad you’re doing well and living the dream. We get to live it with you and that’s great too. Build em how you want em. All your builds are awesome so tint away and enjoy driving them!
Wheels turned out 🔥 perfectly centered. Gonna look great on the travelall
50% IRX is very light but still blocks out a lot of the heat
Need two more and call them, The Patina Girl's
Set you up an outdoor wash bay. That'd be so dang cool.
Here ya go
I can’t believe that Duff hasn’t told you that Theo’s “duck” is actually a pheasant. Oh that’s right, no thumbs. 😂
Classic Industries has the door seals for your wagon!!!
And for the tint get ceramic it’s more but you can go lighter and still keep the uv out I went super dark 5% in the front and 2.5% in the rear of my car and I have to drive with my windows down in the morning when I leave for work or I’m hitting trash cans and everything else backing out granted I’m a welder and have bad eyes to start off with but I’m legally blind at night lol
blue tint on the travelall like on the wagon had before the new glass
Puddin, paint them new 20s white and go with a 35% on the tint. Won’t be a huge difference in the look but give you the results that you are looking for!! Keep up the great work!!!!
Another good channel for these type of recovered salvage builds is "Barely Running" from Sweden.
Friend, I say make it easy on yourself, but I will watch your videos whatever you put out. It feels like hanging out with a friend. So, that said, let’s do whatever you want to do. I’m just along for the ride. Wouldn’t mind more welding projects. Just bought a welder myself.
I have the white Boyd's 20's on my 62 C10, love them.
Lookin good Pud'
I think the travel all needs the hood wet sanded and cleared.
if you want to keep them cool, paint the roofs white... you can leave a little patina, but it will make a big difference reflecting the sun...
Thanks for another great video Puddin
Good job
The caps look fantastic no way baby moons would look that good. I think the Travel All will look good with the tint and black rims.
Make sure you splurge for ceramic tint to block out the most heat!!
I am actually watching that whole Travelall build right now, just at the point where you are shaving the firewall down, filling in some holes. I think you did it at Randy's too now that I think of it. Nice build series if you haven't watched it, I suggest it.
Pretty sure your travel all is the same year as my international truck. Thank you for doing what you're doing. 👍
If by duck you meant pheasant you nailed it 😅
Thanks for another good one Puddin! Professionally applied window tint will look great , so will the wheels. You gotta be able to drive these cars without cooking. Nice one puddin 👍
I did say "yes" when you said tint! Not gonna lie, I like the murdered out look myself. Plus being comfy inside is important too.
Those are looking great!
Great Video! Love Theo! Y'all are awesome.
I see ya hit 100K subscribers today - CONGRATULATIONS!!
Those wheels look awesome puddin!!! Can’t wait to see them on the truck!
There is a international savage yard outside of fort madison iowa that may have the parts for the Travelal
Tinted windows and black steelies sounds pretty sweet. Man you have to have a wagon the family is happy riding in. Still looks old school petina but has some modern amenities. Win win!
Need one of those hubcap tools, hook on one side and a rubber mallet on the other.
Tint today is awesome, you can get a ceramic tint that blocks UV without being dark. Would look good on a classic, it's what I'm going to use on my 54 Chevy truck

Humans just figured it out within our lifetimes, but a duck IS a dinosaur. Maybe Theo already knew.
You need to think about the snub nose van . I would enjoy watching again pudding . From Gordon WALKER in Mt Morris Michigan
Thank you for another great video puddin
Air in the wagon is SWEET!!!
Hey Puddin! A lot of cars from the 30’s- 50’s had clips riveted on the wheels for hub caps. I’ve seen them in some of the catalogue’s for these cars. You’re welcome! lol
